WATER PROOFING WORK

Providing and laying int moment ment based water proofing treatment includin g
preparation of surface as required for treatment of roofs, balconies, terraces etc
consisting of following operations

Applying a slurry coat of neat cement using 2.75 kg/sqm of cement admixed with water
proofing compound conforming to IS.2645 and approved by EIC / Architect over the
RCC slab including adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including cleaning the surface
before treatment.
Laying brick bats with mortar using broken bricks/brick bats 25 mm to 115 mm size with
50% of cement mortar 1:5 ( 1 cement:5 coarse sand) admixed with water proofing
compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by EIC I Architect over 20 mm thick
layer of cement mortar of mix 1:5 (1 cement 5 coarse sand) admixed with water
proofing compound conforming to IS : 2645 and approved by EIC / Architect to required
slope and treating similarly the adjoining walls upto 300 mm height including rounding
of junctions of walls and slabs.
After two days of proper curing applying a second coat of cement slurry using 2.75
kg/sqm of cement admixed with water proofing compound conforming to IS 2645 and
approved by EIC / Architect.

absorption less than .08% and confirming to IS: 15622 in required design and patterns
as per drawing in flooring over 20mm thick cement motar 1:4 bedding floated with neat
cemnt slurry, filling joints with matching cloour pigment mixed with white cement laid to
perfect line, level & Patterns. extra payment will be made towards wastage due to
pattern and design. Payment shall be made on finished floor area only. Rate shall be

Framework: GI channel framework in 24 to 26 guage. The perimeter channel will be GI
channel having one flange of 20mm and the other 30mm and web 27mm along the

rawl plug of dimension 38mmx12mm dia fixed into the soffit at 610mm centres. The

CRCA sheet. The panel shall be powder coated suitable for 415V, 3 phase, 4 wire,
50Hz distribution system. The panel shall be free standing I wall mounting, sheet metal
enclosed, flush front with aluminium busbars, separate earth bus shall be provided
throughout the length of the panel. The incoming and the outgoing feeder breakers,
switch fuse units, change over switches, indicating lamps, meters etc shall be
accommodated in a modular multi tier arrangement. A minimum of 300mm clearance
shall be given from the floor level to the bottom most termination point. The painting
shall be done in conformity with IS code. Adequate size cable alley shall be provided all
round the panel and at the back for easy bending and terminations. The cable
termination for outgoing cable is through suitably rated connector only, direct
termination to the breaker is not accepted.
The panels shall be suitable for cable entry from top / bottom. Direct termination to the
breaker is not accepted. The outgoing feeders inside the panel shall be connected
through solid busbars. Flexible cable links are not acceptable. Busbars shall be
provided with PVC heat shrinkable sleeves or heat resistant insulated paint. The
