The rig can be transported manually on robust pneumatic-tyred wheels. At the probing point the mast is erected and is
set up to the dead vertical position by means of two spindles and an air bubble level.
Various rod systems according to local standards can be employed, a blow counter helps with taking the reading.
The conversion to light (DP-L), medium (DP-M) or heavy (DP-H) dynamic probing procedures is quickly achieved by
mounting or removing of additional drop weight bodies.
The drop weight assembly is lifted by means of a rope winch with hand crank.
For easy transportation in box-type vans, elevators etc. the foldable mast versions are recommendable.

Also for WINDOW SAMPLING up to 80 mm !

Sampling is carried out by using window sampling tubes or slotted probing
rods which are driven into the soil with the 50 kg drop weight at a drop height
of 50 cm.
For the extension the ordinary rods can be used.

LMSR-Vk dynamic probing rig

This unit is powered by a reliable 4-stroke petrol engine which transmits ist revolutions through a
centrifugal clutch and a robust gearbox to the rotating chain integrated in the mast body. Thus the
unit is independent from other energy sources and can be operated everywhere.
The number of blows per minute (between 15 and 30) is controlled by adjusting the engine speed
at the throttle lever.

LMSR-Hk dynamic probing rig

for light (DP-L), medium (DP-M) and heavy (DP-M) dynamic probing with hydraulic motor

This unit is powerded by a hydraulic motor and features the

same specification as the preceeding LMSR-Vk units.
The hydraulic drive motor can be run on a separate hydraulic
power pack which at the same time serves to control the
extraction jack for rod pulling operations. Vehicle pumps or
other sources of hydraulic power can also be employed. A
special advantage of this version is the fact that during rod
change or similar the drop weight mechanism is lifted by
hydraulic power instead of using a hand crank.

LMSR-SPT/Vk DYNAMIC PROBING RIG (DPSH)

This unit is driven by a Honda 4-stroke combustion engine which transmits ist power via a robust centrifugal
clutch/gearbox system to the rotating lifting chain. Therefor the rig can be operated independent from other
power sources. Blow rates from 15 to 25 blows pro Minute can be achieved by adjusting the throttle. The
foldable mast allows for easy transport; one person can erect the unit through an optimal weight distribution.
3 crank jacks provide the possibility of setting the mast in the correct vertical position even under ondulated
ground conditions and guarantee a stable standing position while working.
Window sampling procedures up to 90 mm diameter can be effectively carried out without the need of
folding back or moving the unit.

LMSR-SPT/H DYNAMIC PROBING RIG (DPSH)

This unit is equipped with a directly flanged hydraulic motor driven by a separate hydraulic power
pack (optional).
The folding mast allows for easy transport; one person can erect the unit through an optimal weight
distribution.
Three hand crank jacks provide the possibility of setting the mast in the correct vertical position
even under unfavourable ground conditions. This Y-shaped foot guarantees a stable standing
position during probing operations.
Window sampling procedures up to 90 mm diameter can be effectively carried out without the
need of folding back or moving the unit.
