4. Check if alarm sound indicator level and alarm buzzer on the box are off.
5. Check if serial port communication indicator on the alarm box is green.
6. Check if any active alarms are present in the alarm management system.
EQUIPMENT SYSTEM
7 Check if fan indicator in each rack is green.
8 Check if each board (including front and back) in all sub racks of each rack a
re in green or blue.
-All Sub racks alarms ,Fan alarms should be checked physically .
9 Check if running software versions of the boards and the software versions sav
ed in the flash are consistent with the standard software versions.
- Check by running command LST VER and LST BRDVER
10 Check if at least 50% free disk space is available in each partition of OMU d
isk and if low disk space, deletes OME alarms, logs and unnecessary backup files
.
- Check by running command DSP CPUR
11 Perform backup of MSCE and MGW configuration data.
-MGW there is option in window itself.
SERVICE IMPLEMENTATION
12. Check if MGW is in NORMAL state.
-Check by command LST MGC
13. Check if 39/xx interface link is in VALID state.
- Check by LST IPIF
14.Check if there is any N7LNK in BLOCK , FAULT , or UNKNOWN state in any office directi
on.
-Check in reports or check by commands DSP N7LNK.
SIGNALLING LINKS
15. Check if M3UA signaling links status is normal.
- Check by Commands- LST M3LNK and DSP M3LNK
16. Check if MTP2 signaling links status is normal.
- Check By Commands- LST MTP2LNK and DSP MTP2LNK
17 Check if H.248 signaling links status is normal.
- Check By Commands- LST H248LNK and DSP H248LNK

_ Monthly Health Check MGW
1 CABINETS:
* Check if cabinets are grounded properly.
* Check if corrosion or damages are present in the cabinets.
* Check if ESD wrist strap is available in cabinets.( Not available at location
)
* Check if there is any foreign objects on top of or inside the cabinets.
*Check if all rodent proof nets at the exits of signal cables at the top or bott
om of each cabinet are bundled well and no one is damaged.
*Check if any fan is distorted or broken and if the fan speed is normal.
*Check if fan box, air defense sub rack and boards are dust free and also clean,
if required.
2 EQUIPMENT CABLES
* Check if trunk ,network, clock ,cables, optical fibers etc. are securely conne
cted, properly routed and labeled.
*Check if any damaged , aged, eroded or bur.ned cables or connection points are
present.
