Warm-up: Check homework. Ask three to five Ss to step in front of the board
and ask them to count to ninety-nine in threes, taking turns (e.g. three, six,
nine...). The first to make a mistake is out. Winner(s) are the ones who make it
to ninety-nine.

Main part

Introduce the aim of the lesson. Ask Ss to match the Key Words with the
objects in the picture. Check answers.

Exercise 2: Ask Ss to copy and complete the Word Builder with plurals in their
notebooks. Check spelling and pronunciation of Ss answers.
Exercise 3: Ss listen to the recording and repeat the words. Ss complete the
table and listen to the recording once more.
Exercise 4: Ss work in pairs and make a list of objects they can find in their
classroom. Check answers by asking Ss to write items on the board. Check
spelling and pronunciation.
Exercise 5: Ask two Ss to read aloud the example dialogue. Check that Ss
understand what to do. If a student makes a mistake or forgets an object or
number, the game starts again.
Exercise 6: Ss look at the pictures and repeat after you.
Extra: Use objects in your classroom for Ss to make sentences.
