The document provides instructions for making a twisted peppermint afghan using basic crochet stitches. Each peppermint piece is made using color changes and back loop only stitches to create a twisted effect. The peppermints are then joined together using joining stitches to complete the afghan.

The project involves making individual peppermint pieces and then joining them together in a grid-like pattern according to a placement diagram to complete the afghan. Each peppermint is made using color changes and different stitch patterns involving single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet and clusters.

Each peppermint is made using a foundation chain and then subsequent rounds of back loop only stitches including single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet and clusters to shape the twisted effect. Color is changed on alternate rounds to further enhance the twist.

TWISTED PEPPERMINT

This is a great project for a beginner, it incorporates basic stitches in a fun and easy way to crochet an afghan.
For ease of Crocheting, read instructions fully before starting project. Each Peppermint will take approximately 45 to 60
minutes to complete and join at first, once familiar with the pattern it take approximately 30 to 40 minutes a piece. To
complete the entire afghan it may take approximately 60 hours.
