1st Quarter- PRACTICAL EXAMINATIONS
"Group Performances: Singing and playing musical instrument "
Mechanics:
1. Students will be divided into groups with 5-10 members.
2. They will be asked to perform and sing the learned song: Music, Sound and Silence and I
hear a sound, with the teacher accompanies them.
3. Using the maracas they made, they will play the given Ostinato in each song.
4. The Ostinatos are as follows: (silence sound sound) for the Music, Sound and Silence and
(sound sound sound silence) for the I hear a sound. Note: in every silence, they need to
stamp their foot meanwhile in sound they need to shake the maracas.
5. This practical examination will be graded according to the ff. criteria below:

"Individual Self-Portrait; Drawing and Coloring Artwork "
Mechanics:
1. Students will be asked to bring the following materials for the exam: Picture of their own face
(this serves as their guide to copy), Oslo/ Bond Paper, and Drawing and Coloring Materials.
2. By looking at their own pictures, they will use the pencil to sketch and draw their faces.
3. Note: They will also use lines and shapes for the sketching and making sure that there will be
proportion seen.

Mechanics:
1. Students will be divided into groups with 5-10 members.
2. They will be asked to perform and sing the learned song: Do a Little Motion, with the teacher
accompanies them.
3. Applying the learned Body Shapes and Actions, they will demonstrate each movement in a
given order while singing the song.
4. The movements are as follows: Body Shapes; Stretching, Twisting, Curling and Tucking, and
Body Actions; Walking, Running, Jumping, Hopping, Skipping, Leaping, Sliding and Galloping.
5. This practical examination will be graded according to the ff. criteria below:
