DAPROF MALAPHOID MIXTURE


Composition:Reducing

Pharmacodynamics/how it works:
Triterpenes has the following effects:
Bactericidal effect: Kills the bacteria, Salmonella typhi, the
main cause of typhoid fever and persue it right into the gall
bladder after 6 or more bottles as shown in the efficacy report
by Centre for Scientific Research into Plants Medicine,
Akwapim-Mampong.
Antiprotozoan effect: Kills instantly the Plasmodium
malariae, the cause of malaria fever by 1 or 2 bottles
depending on the severity and degree of the parasite in the
blood indicated as ++. Generally 1 bottle is enough for malaria.
Antiviral effects: Reduces and controls viral effects.
Flavonoids: reduces pain, controls the activities of bacteria (bacteriostatic effect).
Antipyretic: brings down high body temperature, fever and chills. Phenolic compound:
improves appetite.
Pharmacokinetics: MALAPHOID is rapidly absorbed and extensively distributed after ingestion
and excreted by kidney in urine.
Taste and colour: It has non-bitter taste, and colourless with no flavour added.
Indications: MALARIA AND TYPHOID FEVER.
Dosage and administration
MALARIA
Adult: four dessertspoonfuls (40mls) three times daily by mouth for three days.
Children 6-12years: two dessertspoonfuls (20mls) three times daily by mouth for three days.
TYPHOID FEVER
Adult: four dessertspoonfuls three times daily by mouth for three weeks.
Children 6-12years: two dessertspoonfuls (20mls) three times daily by mouth for three weeks.
NB: Number of bottles and duration depend on the severity and level of typhoid titre. Evidence based
on experience has shown that even after taking 9 bottles in a rare case (1 in 1000) typhoid titre: SOH of
1:1/360 drops to 1:1/120 whiles SAH responds well just after 3bottles 1:1/20(negative).Such
individuals need a total of 15bottles.

Contraindications: MALAPHOID is contraindicated in patients with clinically significant


hypersensitivity to any of the components contained in the formulation.
Adverse reactions: No known reactions or side effects.
Storage conditions: Keep out of reach of children. Shake well before use. Keep in a cool dry place.
Warning: Do not use if seal is broken, white foams float on top of the medicine, or settled under the
medicine.
Use in pregnancy and lactation:No evidence of foetal mortality of MALAPHOID in pregnant
women. No research has been done to establish its excretion in breast milk. MALAPHOID should be
used in pregnancy and in lactating women only if the potential benefits outweigh the risks.
Treatment of over dosage: No known antidote for MALAPHOID. One case was reported by a client
who said he had drunk 330ml at once from the bottle; there were no clinical signs and symptoms noted
and haematological tests remained normal (BUE & Cr, LFT, Hb, WBC count).
Interactions with other drugs or foods: May reduce antibiotic effectiveness when taken together.
Take DAPROF MALAPHOID one or two hours before any anitbiotics.
