2. Vendor to specify and confirm suitability of all materials.
3. The Receiver shall be designed for a minimum service life of 30 years.
4. The frequency for the operational pigging shall be as per BB.G-VSP-PVE-ED-60-PL-PHL-001 "Philosophy for Pigging".
5. Vendor shall design the pig receiver to suit the maximum length of intelligent pig supplied by a reputed vendors that shall be
approved by PURCHASER
6. Inside diameter of the eccentric reducer shall match with the inside diameter of minor barrel.
7. Both saddles shall be of sliding type to accommodate 34mm maximum displacement due to pipeline expansion.
8. Vendor shall be responsible for calculating length of the trigger.
9. Flanges shall be in accordance with ASME B16.5 and ASME B16.47 (Series A) and meet the applicable requirements of the
"Piping Class and Valve Code" doc No. BB.G-VPS-PVE-ED-00-PI-SPC-001 & "Specification for Flanges, Fittings and Special
components" doc No. BB.G-VPS-PVE-ED-00-PI-SPC-003 unless otherwise stated.
10. Bolt holes of nozzle & grith flanges shall always straddle the principle of the pig receiver or their parallel lines.
11. All carbon steel stud bolt and nuts shall be hot dip spun galvanized.
