NOTES

1. VTA = Vendor To Advise, VTC = Vendor To Confirm, N/A = Not Applicable, TBC: To Be Confirmed
2. Vendor to specify and confirm suitability of all materials.
3. The Receiver shall be designed for a minimum service life of 30 years.
4. The frequency for the operational pigging shall be as per BB.G-VSP-PVE-ED-60-PL-PHL-001 "Philosophy for Pigging".
5. Vendor shall design the pig receiver to suit the maximum length of intelligent pig supplied by a reputed vendors that shall be

approved by PURCHASER
6. Inside diameter of the eccentric reducer shall match with the inside diameter of minor barrel.
7. Both saddles shall be of sliding type to accommodate 34mm maximum displacement due to pipeline expansion.
8. Vendor shall be responsible for calculating length of the trigger.
9. Flanges shall be in accordance with ASME B16.5 and ASME B16.47 (Series A) and meet the applicable requirements of the

"Piping Class and Valve Code" doc No. BB.G-VPS-PVE-ED-00-PI-SPC-001 & "Specification for Flanges, Fittings and Special
components" doc No. BB.G-VPS-PVE-ED-00-PI-SPC-003 unless otherwise stated.
10. Bolt holes of nozzle & grith flanges shall always straddle the principle of the pig receiver or their parallel lines.
11. All carbon steel stud bolt and nuts shall be hot dip spun galvanized.
12. RTJ gaskets shall be solution heat-treated 316 stainless steel octagonal ring to ASME B16.20 Type R with

max. 160 Brinell hardness.


13. All internal welds shall be ground flush with no intrusions into Pig flow path.
14. The nozzles, including: N2; N3; N4 and N5 on minor berrel, shall be finished at the same level.

The nozzles, including: N6; N7; N8; N11 and N12 on main berrel, shall be finished at the same level.

15. VENDOR shall include in his scope one mechanical pig signaller that shall be automatic reset after the passing of the p

16. Vendor shall submit welding procedures for approval prior to fabrication.
17. Inspection authority shall be nominated by VENDOR and shall be approved by the PURCHASER.
18. Vendor to advise any special requirements for the end closure based on the pig receiver design.
19. End Closure shall be easy to operate by one person using hand tools only. Their design shall allow for maintenance,

greasing and re-alignment at site.


20. Closure shall be furnished in fully heat-treated condition.
21. Nozzle loads shall be as per BB.G-VSP-PVE-ED-00-ME-SPEC-002 Specification for Pressure Vessel
22. Closure shall have a pressure safety interlock to ensure that the closure cannot be opened unless

internal pressure is relieved.


23. Functional test for closure shall include functional test for pressure warning device, gasket sealing and interlock mechanism.
24. VENDOR to note that the maximum Mercury content in the pipeline gas is 50 microgam/m3. Hence no Aluminium or

Aluminium alloy material shall be used for any wetted part of the equipment or package.
The H2S content in the transported gas is 79mg/m3 (55ppmv), the CO2 content max is 21%, total sulfur is 82 ppmv.
This data sheet shall be read in conjunction with "Specification for pig launchers & pig receivers (Mui Tram LFS & O Mon GDC)"
