JUVENILE DELINQUENCY
I. Juvenile delinquency is a serious problem that involves
people under 18 years old that has committed crimes.
II. Causes
A. This problem is brought by the vices of the juveniles
such as drug use, alcohol abuse, involvement in gangs,
and peer influence.
B. Other problems that cloud the individuals mind can
also cause depression which later on is associated with
juvenile delinquency
C. The No future ahead mentality of the individuals
makes them feel useless which urges them to engage in
bad vices.
III. Effects
A. Drugs in their bloodstream make them think different
and violent which makes them to commit crimes and other
inhumane acts.
B. Violence exhibited by the individual will lead to
destruction of property or even lives
C. Once in the custody of the authorities,the individual
has lost his or her freedom
D. The corrupted mind of the individual can define what
he will become in the future.
E. Violence and other acts makes the neighborhood an
unsafe place to live in.
IV. Solution
A. At a young age the child must be taught of what is
right and what is wrong so that he will remember it for the
rest of his life.
