LEARNING AND ASSESSMENT PACKAGES
All Packages developed by the Project:
are based upon industry endorsed Competency Standards
have been rigorously reviewed on at least two occasions by industry experts
and endorsed by them
have been trialed at SMK N1 Batam and other educational institutions
have been approved by Industry Advisory Groups and the Project Reference Group
stand alone as educational resources and need little or no other supporting material
can be used as stand alone training programs with industry participants
are entirely in a soft copy format

BSDC Code
All Learning and Assessment Packages developed by the Project were given a
BSDC Number, (for example, BSDC-0001). BSDC stands for Batam Skills
Development Centre, which is the industry training centre operating within SMK
N1 Batam.
BSDC Numbers were used for all Packages to emphasise that Packages are
capable of being used in delivery of stand alone training programs to industry
customers.
