Subject: CO-ORDINATES & CHANCE FOR SIGHTING OF THE NEW MOON OF SHABAN, 1438 AH ON 27-04-2017.
The new moon of Shaban, 1438 AH will be born on crossing conjunction point at 17-16 PST on 26-04-
2017.
2. Astronomical parameters of new moon and average cloud amounts at Pilot Balloon Observatories of
Pakistan Meteorological Department are attached herewith.
3. According to astronomical parameters, there is Fair Chance of sighting the new moon of Shaban, 1438
AH on the evening of 27-04-2017 i.e. on 29th of Rajab, 1438 AH.
4. According to climate record, the weather is expected fair/partly cloudy in most parts of the country.
