Oeko-tex certificates can be accepted in lieu of chemical test reports if the following requirements are met:
* The certificate shows compliance to all applicable chemicals for the product, in accordance to the Debenhams Risk Assessment Matrix for Chemical Testing.
* The issue date of the certificate is within 12 months
* The applicant name is either the Debenhams Supplier OR the Supplier can provide proof that the material is sourced from the applicant (such as a P.O.)
* The fibre composition of the material (for which the certificate has been provided as proof of chemical compliance) matches that stated on the certificate
