(Very Good) on SETARA09 and within two years it had been upgraded to TIER 5 (Excellent) in

rating, IUKL become among one of the top ranking universities in Malaysia.

The Faculty of Engineering & Technology Infrastructure (FETI) was the major Faculties that were
established in IUKL since 1998. The faculty is masterful in grooming their students to achieve the
highest in future, as graduates are mastermind of the future to develop the countries. Graduates will

Architecture, LAM Part II. The requirement skill of an architect is the ability to design buildings

Bachelor of Science (Architectural Studies)

The Bachelor of Science (Architectural Studies) is the first stage of obtaining a professional
qualification in Architecture, LAM Part I. It provides the basis on which student can progress to the

and practical experience required for subsequent professional in architecture.

Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (Hons)

The Bachelor of Quantity Surveying (Hons) provides learning on measurement of construction

and highlights on training to improve technical, management and development skills. These skills

professional bodies such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA
Australia and MICPA. So that, student are going

The Faculty of arts, communication and education (FACE) was one of the famous arts and
communication Faculties in IUKL since 1988. This faculty is passionate in diversify the students
mind in order to have the best critical thinking in them as they are the key for a brighter future for
the people and society. The graduates will be capable of using knowledge of the current trends
in language teaching, apply creative approaches to teaching, problem solving and abide by the
principles of ethical practices in various professional contexts.

science, programming and software engineering.
This program is developed in consultation
with industry input to prepare students for one

Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons) is a three-
year program. It equips graduates with skills
to be technically competent in the analysis,
development and implementation of computer
systems. Courses are delivered in a small-class
environment through lectures, labs, tutorials and

Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons) in Network

Technology

Nearly every business depends on the smooth

running of its communication networks. There
is A need for professionals who know how
to design, implement, secure and manage
communication networks. Earn your bachelors
degree in Network Technology at IUKL, and
youll be skilled in operating applications
in a broad area usage, interfacing between
public and private networks, and constructing
security resolutions for LANs. The program
also provides a CISCO Certification path for
students to be more equipped for the next
generation of skilled technopreneurs.
 Bachelor of Information Systems (Hons)

This degree programme is designed with the aims to produce competent and remarkable graduates
in managing and developing information systems in a business context with added knowledge in
information management, enterprise system, e-commerce and organisational behaviour. These
graduates are also able to integrate various technology solutions with an added knowledge in
information systems management to be involved either in working environment or in pursuing
postgraduate studies.

It is envisioned that the Information System (IS) specialist from IUKL be equipped with broad
understanding of the fundamental knowledge prerequisite for the role as an efficient IS specialist,
having professional attitudes and ethics necessary in fulfilling his/her responsibilities towards
the Creator, clients and the local and international society. IS graduates from IUKL able to lead
business organization based on knowledge of important current issues in information system such
as user centred approach in electronic Enterprise Systems and Decision Support System and/or
able to conduct research, whether at a postgraduate level or in his/her own organization.

Classroom-based strategies: Lecturers continually monitor student performance and

learning needs to improve student learning.

After-hours strategies (Counselling): Faculties may provide after-school or before-school

programs, usually within the University, that provide students with tutoring or mentoring, or
to help students prepare for class or acquire study skills.

School-based strategies: Faculties create academic-support opportunities during the lecture

day, such as learning labs, to increase the instructional time that academically struggling
students receive, while also varying the way that instruction is delivered.

Technology-assisted strategies: Faculties may use digital and online learning applications,
such as visual simulations or e-book learning, to help students grasp difficult concepts, or
teachers may use course-management programs that allow them to archive course materials
and communicate with students online.

Clubs and societies

Student Affairs Division (STAD) creates opportunities for students to explore their interests with
practical experience through activities organised throughout the year. There are more than 40 clubs
and societies at IUKL. Participation in clubs and societies provides valuable hands-on experience
for leadership and character development. All events are managed by our students and supported by
the University.
