This document provides procedures for various emergency situations including:
- Aborted engine start which includes disengaging autopilot and autothrottle and setting pitch and thrust levels
- An APU fire which instructs pulling and holding the APU fire switch for 1 second and turning the APU off
- A cabin altitude warning or rapid depressurization which includes donning oxygen masks, putting the pressurization system in manual mode and holding the outflow valve closed until indicated fully shut
- A cargo fire in the main area which includes donning oxygen masks and smoke goggles, closing the flight deck door, and establishing communications
- An emergency descent which instructs announcing the descent to the cabin, turning the passenger

CARGO FIRE (MAIN)
MAIN
Don oxygen masks and set regulators to 100%, as
needed. 2 Don smoke goggles, as needed. 3 Close the flight deck door. This step prevents smoke or fumes contamination from other compartments. 4 Establish crew and cabin communications. Emergency Descent
1 Announce the emergency descent. The pilot flying
will advise the cabin crew, on the PA system, of impending rapid descent. The pilot monitoring will advise ATC and obtain the area altimeter setting. 2 Passenger signs . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .ON 3 Without delay, descend to the lowest safe altitude or 10,000 feet, whichever is higher. 4 ENGINE START switches (both) . . . . . . . . .
