CCIE Day Practice Lab 2
CCIE Day Practice Lab 2
CCIE Day Practice Lab 2
Rules:
Read the entire lab before starting.
No Static routes unless specifically stated.
Do not use VLAN 1
Follow instructions exactly only propagate routes when and where instructed.
You have 8.5 hours to complete the lab.
IP Setup:
Note: Not all IP address can be assigned at this time.
LAN Interfaces:
1. Use the IP addressing as shown the network drawing.
2. Use the IP addresses 128.200.16.3/24 and 129.200.17.3/27 on the Fast 0/3 interface of R3.
3. Use VLAN-C for subnet 128.200.16.0/24 and VLAN-D for the 129.200.17.0/24 subnet
4. Use the IP address of 128.300.32.4/24on E0/1 interface of R4 and Fe0/1 of R8 and assign it to
VLAN-F.
5. Use the IP address 128.200.64.46/26 on Fe0/0 of R8 and assign it to VLAN-G
6. Use the network 128.200.0.0 for all other subnets and host addresses.
WAN Interfaces:
1. Use the IP address 128.200.1.10/24 on serial interface S0/0/0.
ISDN Configuration:
1. Configure the ISDN network between R3 and R10 using the following.
a. Use the IP address of 128.200.200.10/24
b. Assign to the OSPF area 0.
c. The dialer should not remain up all the time due to the routing protocol.
d. Configure R10 to only place the calls upon loss from the Frame-Relay.
e. Use PPP CHAP for authentication; use cisco_isdn as the password.
f. Do not use static routes.
g. R10 should pick up the second B channel when the bandwidth goes over 32 kbps of
outbound traffic.
h. The link should drop after 5 minutes of idle time.
BGP Configuration:
1. Configure BGP routing for R3, R8, and R10 and place all of these router in AS-5300
2. Configure R3, R8, and R10 to peer with router 5 over the Frame-Relay network.
3. All AS 5300 routers should advertise all directly connected networks and routes advertised to
external peer should be summarized using the least number of network prefixes.
4. Additionally the previous configured items R3, should be configured to peer with R11,
propagating all R11 routes to its I-BGP peers.
5. Configure BGP routing on R5 and place it in AS 12
6. Configure R5 to peer with routers in AS 5300.
7. Advertise the connected networks.
8. Create loopbacks 4.0.0.0/8 and 5.5.0.0/16 networks and advertise them to all BGP neighbors.
9. Configure BGP on router R11 to be in the AS 500.
10. Configure R11 to peer with R3.
11. Configure BGP authentication with all neighbors using the password abc123.
12. Create two loopbacks networks on R11 11.0.0.0/8 and 12.0.0.0/8
13. Advertise these networks to all BGP peers.
14. Configure R11 so that the routes sent to routers in AS 5300 will not propagate the route; make
no changes to AS 5300 routers.
15. Configure BGP routing on R4. Place the router in AS 101
16. Configure R4 to peer with R8.
17. Create two loopback interfaces 118.116.0.0/24 and 117.116.115.0/24 on R4.
18. Advertise these networks to all connected networks on R8.
19. Configure R8 to hide R4s 117.116.115.0/24 network from R5 without making any changes on R3
and R10.
20. Prevent the other AS5300 routers from advertising the 117.116.115.0/24 network to any peers.
21. Configure a single static route on SW16 to the network 141.200.5.0/24 on backbone router R5.
Do not use a default route.
QoS configuration:
1. Configure R8 with a policy the limits bandwidth consumption on its Frame-Relay interfaces
based on the packet size. Use the following table.
DLSW+ Configuration:
1. Configure a DLSW TCP peer between VLAN-A on R10 and 141.200.5.5 on R5.
2. You should see R5 in the DLSW reachability cache.
3. If you lose connectivity to the 141.200.5.5 peer, another peer should become active on R5 that
peers to R4s VLAN-F where the backup server resides. You cannot use the remote-peer
statement on R5
4. When the peer is active from R10 to R4, R4 should advertise the NetBIOS host backup R4. This
peer should remain active up to 3 minutes after connectivity to the primary peer is restored.
1. Configure un par TCP de DLSW entre la VLAN-A en R10 y 141.200.5.5 en R5.
