Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions and precautions carefully and completely before operating your CA-1
preamplifier and PA-1 mono block power amplifier.
1. Read these instructions.
2. Keep these instructions.
3. Heed all warnings.
4. Follow all instructions.
5. Do not use this apparatus near water.
6. Clean only with dry cloth.
7. Always keep this unit out of the reach of children.
8. Do not install this product near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (
including amplifiers) that produce heat.
9. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the
point where they exit from the apparatus.
10. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or on the condition of long-time non-using.
11. Always disconnect your entire system from the AC mains before connecting or disconnecting any cable, or when
cleaning any component.
12.This product must be terminated with a three conductor AC mains power cord which includes an earth ground
connection, to prevent it from shock hazard, all three connections must always be used.
13. AC extension cords are not recommended to use on this product.
14. Never use flammable or combustible chemicals for cleaning audio components.
15. Never operate this product with any cover removed.
16. Never pour or spill liquids directly onto this unit.
17. Never block air flow through ventilation slots or heat sinks.
18.Keep the fuse out of short circuit.
19.Never take replacement of fuse uith non-specified values.
20.Never attempt to repair this product, if a problem occurs, contact your dealer.

Before Use
Unpack your CA-1 or PA-1 and keep all packing materials for future transport or service, locate and remove all
accessory items from the accessory box within the shipping carton.

Battery Replacement

Using Remote Controller


If you use the remote control unit to control the amplifier: 30°

How To Use

Operation Guide
CA-1 Protection Function
This product has complete anti-impact function, including delayed protection on power on, shut off protection, which
can ensure no abnormal impulse current output.
CA-1 Operating Process
1. Check the connections between this product and related devices before power on.
2. Power on the product by press the power button, after the connections are confirmed to be connected well. The
sleep indicator will be lighted to indicate the preamplifier enter into sleep state.
3. Start the preamplifier by press sleep button by hand or F1 button on remote controller. The product will be shifted
between work state and sleep state automatically after each press. The sleep indicator will be dead after the pre-
amplifier enter into work state. The pre-amplifier will enter into the count down period for 60s while the sleep indicator
is off and the warm-up indicator is light. During this warm-up stage, except press the sleep button or F1 button, all
other operation are invalid. After the count down period for delay, the pre-amplifier will be automatically
interconnected with the signal input channel which is recorded in memory and keep the volume value in memory when
shut off last time.
The volume will be automatically adjusted to volume 30 if it is over volume 75 before last time shut off.
4. After warm up, you can implement all controls by hand or remote controller. You can select the input channel, and set
the sound source in play mode, turn on the volume level slowly. Then, you can enjoy the music.
5. When shut off the audio system, please power off the power-amplifier at first, and then power off this preamplifier
itself. Caution: Must cut off the power for non-play for long-time.

PA-1 Protection Function:

PA-1 Processing:
1. Ensure the connections between this power amplifier and relevant devices are correct before power on;
2 Power on only if the cables are confirmed to be connected well, the indicator glitters to indicate the machine enters
into the warm up status. After about 8 seconds, the power amplifier enters into working state, then you can play the
music.
3. When shut off the audio system, please power off the power amplifier at first, and then power off the preamplifier.

In order to help user operate this amplifier more convenient, following is some frequently asked
questions during the operation. If you want more information, please access www.xindak.com , E-mail:

Q.Why operate on the input selector on panel or select switch and volume control button on
remote control, there is no response from amplifier?
A. The reason for that may because: 1. The amplifier is in preparation stage after power on. Please
wait. 2. The amplifier is in mute model, and the Mute mark glitters as 1Hz frequency. Please release
the mute;

Q. why the attached remote control can not work?


A. This problem may because: 1. there is no batteries, please take out the batteries attached, open
the rear cover of the remote control by screwdriver and install them according the exploitation on
the chapter “Operation and maintenance for remote control”. 2. The batteries is spent, please
replace the batteries. 3. There is barrier between the IR sensor and infrared emitter. 4. The remote
control has been out of the max available operation distance.

Q. Why there is no sound output after power on?


A. That may because: 1. The amplifier has not been connected to sound source or there is no
output from sound source. 2. The amplifier has not been connected to loudspeakers. 3. The signal
indication is different with the input signal, please select the correct signal channel. 4. The volume
knob is set at the 0, please set the volume in proper level.

Q. How to replace the fuse?


A. If the fuse melts, please pull out the power cord at first, then open the fuse socket on the power
input socket. After take out fuse, please check the fuse at first. If there is no black within it, please
directly replace it with the fuse in same specification. If there is fuse, which mean there is serious
fault, please contact your distributor or the service office of Chengdu Xindak Electronic Co., Ltd.
