The Local Committee Against Trafficking and Violence Against Women and Their Children reported their accomplishments from January to December 2017. In the province of Nueva Ecija, the city of Zaragoza had no reported cases of human trafficking. The Department of Social Welfare and Development conducted lectures on violence against women and children and child abuse that reached over 1,900 people. They also held lectures on child trafficking and abuse in schools.
