SCHOOL NEWS

“BLACK & WHITE” GALA 2018: Just 3 more weeks before one of our biggest fundraisers of
the year Gala 2018 happens! Invite family and friends to join us for an evening of dinner/
dancing/live & silent auction/gambling, and lots of fun from 6:00 – 11:00 pm at the Four
Points by Sheraton located at 8110 Aero Drive. If you haven’t returned your RSVP for the
evening, please do so ASAP! We can make this happen, but we need your help to
support this very important fundraiser for our school. So jump on board by showing your
support!

GALA 2018 DRAWING: We will make this happen! We need every family to commit to
“purchasing” at least five tickets for the 5K drawing. The drawing for $5,000.00 is the
main profit of this event. Our children are the ones that directly benefit from this
fundraiser. But we need YOUR help so we can reach our goal by making Gala 2018 a
great success.

SPRING SPORTS: Spring sports are for 5th – 8th grade: JV & Varsity girls basketball, JV &
Varsity boys soccer, and 3rd & 4th grade boys basketball. Also, please remember if we
have enough players for each team, we will also need coaches! If you can volunteer
your time, please contact Mr. Fairchild or the school office.

CATHOLIC SPORTS LEAGUE TRACK MEET: Catholic Sports Track Meet is just around the
corner! Saturday, March 10th Cathedral Catholic High School will hold its annual track
meet. The track meet will start at 8:30 am and end at 1:00 pm. If you have any
questions, please see Mr. Fairchild.

SCHOOL RE-REGISTRATION: For all those families who haven’t registered for the 2018-
2019 school year, please do so promptly. If you register by March 16th your registration
fee is $250.00 per child. After March 16th the registration fee is $300.00. Please remember
when paying your registration fee you need to include the PTG family fee of $200.00. If
you have any questions, please contact Ms. Navarro.

8TH GRADE PARENTS: Important reminder: The following items needs to be submitted for
the school yearbook.

♦ One baby photo of your child, two or three growing up, and or family photos.

♦ A congratulatory message to your 8th grader not more than 150 words.
