TEACHING

Florida State College at Jacksonville: Trained faculty, students, and staff on the use of
library equipment. Frequently used engaging presentations to instruct students to navigate
scholarly databases and library catalog.

College of Coastal Georgia: Coached faculty, students, and staff on electronic databases –
including journals, magazines, and e-books.

Florida State College at Jacksonville, Nassau Outdoor Education Center: Facilitator to


one, two, or three day seminars for professional groups from the public, private, and non-profit
sectors. Occasional groups consisted of public, private, or higher education students. Groups
were hosted in an outdoor setting that included a ropes course and climbing wall. Each set of
visiting individuals were taught a variety of team building lessons with guided activities. Such
lessons include the following: leadership, communication, problem solving, boosting team
morale, valuing group promises, identifying and accepting strengths and weaknesses, and
breaking down group barriers.
