NARRATIVE REPORT IN FEEDING PROGRAM

Fourth Quarter

In order to intensify health and nutrition among Grade 7 students of Los


Banos National – BM as spearheaded with Nutrition Coordinator in running
targeted supplementary feeding program for severely wasted Grade 7 students of
this school. Mrs. Mary Joan P. De Jesus, school nutrition coordinator and
chairman of feeding program together with Mrs. Rosalinda M. Arroyo, co-
chairman and T.L.E. teachers threshed-out those who were severely wasted
students. There were 25 recipients of the program. The school canteen provides
heavy lunch or snacks every Monday, Wednesday, Friday with MMK (malungay,
mongo and kalabasa as main ingredient mixed with chicken or ground pork.
Sometimes fish is also served. Chicken and some vegetables were harvested in
our GULAYAN SA PAARALAN. The meals were prepared by the school canteen
personnel lead by Mrs. Mary Joan P. De Jesus, school canteen manager.

The second part of the program starts in exercise lead by the YECS and STEP
officers and participated by the students. The next part of the program is the
proper hand washing lecture and demonstration for the students and some
orientation about malnutrition.

The last part of the program is feeding activity. Everyone enjoyed and
satisfied in healthy foods that we served . After that, we take pictures as
documentation in our accomplishment report.
