Having known Frank since the beginning of his journey in the M. Ed. program, I have
seen his voice grow over the semesters. This is evident in his reflection, as he has internalized all
of the models, theories, and material from his courses into a construct of his own design,
incorporating what he has learned into a new way of understanding both higher education and
himself. As Frank discusses the most impactful lessons and experiences of this program in his
reflection, I can see from my own interactions with Frank where these teachings have
materialized through discussions in class and in course assignments. Having partnered with
Frank on a few group projects, I can attest to his developed and substantial grasp on assessment

and exceeded- each of these as discussed in his reflection. The last program outcome- reflective
leadership- was not explicitly discussed in his reflection, but I believe that Frank has made it
clear throughout his statement that he intends to use his passion, his knowledge, and his drive to
be a leader, now and beyond as he graduates the program. I am convinced from his reflection
that he is destined to reflect great credit upon himself, the M. Ed. program, the School of
