Q.1. Why is it not easy to emulate the success of a company that has achieved strategic fit?
Briefly discuss the Type 2 of Strategic Fit giving a suitable example [3 + 3 + 1 = 7]

Q.2. Discuss the role of focus and trade-offs, as suggested by Porter, in the development of
strategy highlighting why these are important to a strategy. [3 + 3 = 6]

Q.3. How does Ikea use the concept of fit and focus in the way in which it operates? [3 + 3 = 6]

Q.4. Why is the traditional approach to strategy development considered static? Discuss how
strategic intent overcomes this shortcoming? [3 + 4 = 7]

Q.5. Discuss the following in your own words using any suitable examples
