WELCOME ADDRESS OF MUNICIPAL VICE MAYOR FOR THE LGU

CHRISTMAS PARTY ON DECEMBER 17, 2010 @ THE MUNICIPAL

GYMNASIUM

(Greetings to the Honorable Local Officials, heads of office,

distinguished guests and employees…)

Merry Christmas and a happy, happy new year to all of us! Indeed, the
best gift we will ever receive during Christmas is the gift of family. As
we enjoy the presence of our respective parents, children and grand
children this Christmas holiday, tonight we will cherish the presence of
our LGU family. We cannot deny the fact that we spend longer time
weekly with our LGU family. We share laughter, tears, frustrations,
aspirations, dreams, ambitions and secrets with our officemates and
colleagues. We age with our friends in this LGU. All of these give us the
best reason to enjoy our 2010 Christmas Party. Tonight, we will witness
our colleagues dance and sing the melodies of Christmas. We will watch
our officemates showcase their hidden talents. We are all excited to
open our gifts, and the raffle and give-aways will surely add color to
tonight’s celebration.

So, I will not take so long. As your Municipal Vice Mayor, from the
bottom of my heart, I am so happy to welcome everyone to this 2010
LGU Christmas Party!

Once again, a merry merry Christmas and a happy happy New Year to
all of us!

Thank you and good evening.

MESSAGE OF HONORABLE VICE MAYOR DURING THE CHRISTMAS GET-TOGETHER WITH THE
BARANGAY COUNCIL OF MARAYAG, LUPON, DAVAO ORIENTAL ON DECEMBER 18, 2010 @
2:00PM

(Greetings to the National and Local Officials, Barangay Officials and Functionaries, guests, etc.)

At the onset, I would like to greet everyone a merry, merry Christmas and a
happy, happy New Year. In the Philippines, I have observed, we celebrate the
longest Christmas. When the month ends in “ber”, Christmas melodies fill the air.
A marathon of Christmas greetings and messages are unendlessly forwarded to
families and friends. I know that as Catholics, you hear Misa de Gallo. Especially
the young ones, they hate to miss this famous “nine mornings”. In fact, we are
very sympathetic with our celebration. As much as possible, we want our parents,
children, grand children and beloved relatives to share our Noche Buena. In
offices and in schools, we can’t afford to let go of the season without having
parties and exchanged gifts, just like what we do this afternoon.

From my own perspective, I may not share your religious belief. But, truly, I
appreciate the essence of the Christmas celebration. For me, the best gift we will
ever receive this season is the gift of family. This is high time to say “thank you”, “I
love you”, “I care for you”, and even “I’m sorry” is very welcome. So, this

This is the very essence of Christmas that I want to share with you. Our family is
not only in our respective homes. Our family is extended in the offices, in the
barangays. Our fellow public servants are our families too. Hence, there is no
reason not to share goodwill and love to everyone this Christmas season.

Once again, a merry merry Christmas and a happy happy New Year sa tanan.

Thank you very much.

MESSAGE OF HONORABLE VICE MAYOR DURING THE 1st FOUNDATION
ANNIVERSARY OF THE LUPON NATIONAL COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL,
LUPON, DAVAO ORIENTAL ON JANUARY 7, 2011

(Greetings to the National and Local Officials, Administration and staff of the
Lupon National Comprehensive High School, distinguished guests, students and
visitors)

First and foremost, my heartfelt greetings and congratulations to our dear

Congresswoman Honorable Thelma Z. Almario for she has greatly done her
part as a legislator for the separation of this school from its mother school,
the Lupon Vocational High School. Her effort in legislation legitimizes our
dream of having another independent secondary school in the municipality
of Lupon. In like manner, my heartfelt congratulations also to Ma’am Connie
L. Gallibot, our most-abled school principal. Thru the best efforts of Ma’am
Connie, we are blest with this institution. Her incomparable initiative greatly
helped in the realization of this school in the midst of financial constraints.
Moreso, on this occasion of its first founding anniversary, my
congratulations also goes to the entire administration, staff, parents,
students and benefactors of this school. You all deserve recognition and
appreciation.

Foundation anniversary is hightime to say thank you for the past year’s
blessings. Above all, we thank our Almighty Creator for the bountiful
blessings we have received. The presence of our mentors, the very
supportive parents and the active response of the national and local officials
should not go unnoticed. Furthermore, as we celebrate this 1st founding
anniversary, we must also be reminded that we have a great challenge
ahead of us - the challenge to keep abreast with the advancement in
technology in one hand, and the challenge of preserving our good practices,
beliefs and culture on the other hand. The school plays a very significant role
in guiding the youth towards wholesome growth and development. These
students are our future. Being so, we are responsible in providing them the
best teachings, the good principles and the school of thought that will help
them realize their dreams and aspirations in life. Together, we will
continually work hand in hand for the betterment of our dear school, the
Lupon Comprehensive High School, in particular, and of our beloved
Municipality of Lupon, in general. Once again, Congratulations sa atong
tanan!
