Tom is a keen gardener and owns a garden nursery. He specialises in tomato plants and grows
two varieties—cherry tomatoes and roma tomatoes.
The height in centimetres of the cherry tomato plants that Tom is selling is normally
distributed with a mean of 15 cm and a standard deviation of 4 cm. There are 4000 cherry
tomato plants in his nursery.
a. Tom classifies the tallest 15% of his cherry tomato plants as advanced.
