Parent Help Needed: Parents, each year our wonderful PTA provides a soup luncheon of the DMC staff!
We look forward to it each year! They provide us with wonderful crockpots or soups, salads, and
desserts! But, they need the community’s help! If you can donate a crockpot of soup, a salad, or
dessert please contact Mrs. Alison Cox at [email protected]. All crockpots will be washed
and ready for pick up after 3:30 pm, soups can be dropped off as early as 8:00 am, and please
make sure that your crockpot is labeled with your name along with the soup and basic ingredients
for staff with allergies.

Monster March Next Week: Next week is our traditional “Monster March Parade” which takes place
on our field beginning at 2:30 pm. Students wear their costumes (NO WEAPON PROPS ALLOWED)
and take turns marching the field to showcase their costumes. Students in grades 1-5 bring their
costumes to change into, Kindergarteners can wear their costumes to school for the day (as they will be
doing a costume parade in the building for the classes at 9:30). Parents are welcome to join us and can
stand around the outer-edge of the field to take pictures. This is an annual tradition which has been in place for over 15 years!
Parents are allowed to take their students from the parade, you just have to inform your child’s teacher before leaving. The
parade takes about 20-30 minutes.
