    Greetings in the name of student empowerment!

    We, the undersigned 4th year BS Civil Engineering students of Batangas State University-Alangilan
    Campus, are conducting a research entitled, “Impact Assessment of Road Widening Project of Jose P.
    Laurel Highway (N4) in Alangilan, Batangas City” in partial fulfillment in CE 414- Methods of Research
    for CE. It aims to gather information about impact of the road widening to the locals of the said
    community.

    In line with this, we would like to request from your good office an approval to conduct a survey with
    regards to the impact of the recent road widening project which would be a significant help to the
    progress of our study. All information provided will be kept in utmost confidentiality and would be used
    only for academic purposes. Names of respondents will not appear in any thesis or publications resulting
    from this study unless agreed to.
