It’s our pleasure for being invited to submit the proposal for the Turbine AUX Scope works at PP-8 for GE
frame 7 Gas Turbine during their Major Inspection

We are submitting a complete proposal for carrying out a Aux works as mentioned by GE ,It is our pleasure
to assure you that NPM holds a team of qualified and experienced Engineers, Supervisors, Technicians,
Fitters, Specialists, EHS Supervisors, Riggers, Crane operators and another necessary crew to deliver the
services within the stipulated timeframe.

1. Technical Background
1.1 Statement of Problem:

A Trunkey Services to carry out the Major Inspection Auxiliary scope during the outage with includes the
Overhauling and Servicing of described systems as per GE / SEC standards.

1.2 Background

National Project Managers (Pvt.) Limited is fully committed for delivering the designated

accordance with the documented procedures.ee in staff training to professional level.

1.2 Objectives:

The Immediate objective of this Proposal is to briefly describe the major scope that is required
to carry out the Aux works during the Major Inspection of GT-2 with G.E which includes the
overhauling and Servicing of the Lube/ hydraulic oil system, Washing / cooling water skids and
Aux for Fuel gas system that will be covered during the Outage of GT-2 Major Inspection

1.3 Scope of Work

All the activities mentioned will be performed as per GE / SEC standards and Approved HSE working
procedures. GE/ SEC will provide us the access for the working personals, tools and equipment’s required
on site. Activities will be mutually coordinated with SEC O&M and GE site personals for related activities
to complete them in designated time frame. Documents (Reports or time sheets) are produced for daily
activity monitoring.
The General Scope will be:

1. Inspect, Overhaul and Test aux. hydraulic pump and Hydraulic oil supply manifold
All the pumps including the Hydraulic system (2 No’s) which needs to be overhauled and
inspected for any major damage or replacements, including the alignment, greasing and bearing
replacement if required.

2. Inspect and Servicing of main lube oil system at Lube oil Compartment
All the Pumps including the 2 AC, 1 DC Lube oil Pumps and 1 AC seal oil Pump which needs to be
services, overhauled and inspected for any damage and replacements required, this also
includes the removal of lube oil, cleaning of the lube oil tank and refilling it back as per GE
standard (Purification to be carried out as per GE request through Oil Purifiers available at site)

3. Clean / Inspect Radiators (coolers) , replace radiator fan bearing and inspect the belts and
replace if necessary
Removing of coolers for detergent / chemical cleaning, inspection of radiator fan bearing and
replacing them if required

4. Inspect lube oil heat exchanger removal ,cleaning and reinstallation of cooler bundles (as
needed) and inspect transfer valves
Removing of tube bundles for cleaning and installing them back , all the transfer valves for the
lube oil system needs to be inspected and cleaned.

5. Cooling water skid servicing /overhauling of cooling water pumps ,servicing of cooling water
fans
Inspection of Cooling water Pumps ( 4 No’s) and 12 (Fin Fans) for replacing of Mechanical seal
and greasing for the pumps , and motor bearing or belt replacement along with its alignment

 6. Inspection , Service and calibration of all valves temperature regulator (VTR) , PRV , Relief
valve ,Orifices , check valve
On site field calibration for all the valves included in the AUX scope for their Packing leakage and
incorrect settings from the fuel gas valve,Pressure regulating valves ,Temperature regulating
valves ,oil flow butterfly valves, Dial gauge indicators and Transmitters needs to be calibrate and
replacing the damaged once as requested by GE

7. Checking and adjustment of alignment for all the Aux pumps

Re-Alignment for all the pumps removed during the Inspection

8. Inspection of Gas control Valves

Servicing of 4 control valves and 2 Stop valves included the removal of the Actuator assembly for
inspections and cleaning only, it may also include some diaphragm and interconnected control
valves which needs to informed by GE during the Inspection and outage phase

9. Servicing and Functional testing of compressor bleed valves

Inspection and Servicing for compressor bleed valves (4 No`s)

10. Visual inspections for expansion joints ,of water , attempter , bleed and cooling, seal air
Inspection of all expansion joints and arresting all leakages for attempters, cooling air, water and
Seal air lines.

11. Hydrogen Coolers

Removal of Generator Hydrogen Coolers (5 Nos) for Cleaning and Inspection

12. Control Devices

Inspection for all the Control devices including Temperature switches and thermostats for their
variations for their dropout and incorrect settings

All activities will be done under the O&M coordination with proper LOTO.
