    Condenser Design Calculation (According to HEI

    Input Data:

    1 Mass flow rate = 1319510


    2 Steam inlet pressure = 0.102
    3 Steam inlet temperature = 45.836
    4 Given enthalpy = 568.33
    5 Saturated enthalpy of the liquid = 45.816
    6 Saturated enthalpy of the vapour = 617.21
    7 Cooling water velocity = 2.15
    8 Dryness fraction = 0.91
    9 Cooling water inlet temperature = 33
    10 Cooling water outlet temperature = 43
    11 Temperature difference = 10
    13 Allowable pressure drop on tube side = 0.5
    14 Cleanliness factor = 0.9

    Total cooling water requirement QW = 75397.26

    Temperature difference ( TR ) = 10
    Initial temperature difference ( ITD ) = 13
