Petroleum so not offered in PU.

Engineering Science Courses (ESC) 25 27  Necessary courses which are

required to understand the basics
of petroleum are all included in the
curriculum.

Professional Core Courses (PCC) 68 55  All courses as per GATE syllabus

and IIT Dhanbad syllabus are
included as per their names in PU
curriculum..

Professional Core Electives (CSEL) 9 12  All courses are included as either

core subjects or as elective so
requirement of 4th input is not
required so.

Humanities and Social Sciences 12 12  In AICTE there are four courses but
in PU we are having six courses of

CDC with Credit as 2 for each
