PEMAC’s Asset Management Professional (AMP) The program is designed to build organizational capacity

THE PROGRAM
The program is designed for mid-career professionals and senior managers from varied
disciplines including engineering, IT, business management and finance, who have
responsibility for managing decisions with respect to the core life cycle functions such
as design, selection, operation, maintenance of an organization’s assets. The material
benefits professionals from both public and private sector organizations, from a broad
range of physical asset intensive industries.

Courses are structured to progressively help participants understand and embrace


the various concepts necessary to be effective as a maintenance and physical asset
management professionals. While not mandatory, it is recommended that the
courses be taken and completed in the order in which they are listed.

Offered exclusively by ‘asynchronous’ online learning, the AMP program


consists of six courses that lead to a Certified Asset Management Professional
(CAMP) designation.

Recognized by a growing number of professional bodies and government institutions, the AMP
program is independently designed and maintained by leading experts in asset management from
across Canada and around the world. The program has been developed with the support of a grant
that was awarded to PEMAC by the Province of Ontario in 2013, as part to the Sector Initiatives Fund
program under the Ontario Minister of Training, Colleges and Universities.

PEMAC is a national not for profit association providing global leadership, education and certification
in maintenance, reliability and asset management practices. PEMAC’s mission is to improve its
member’s professionalism, safety, performance, and outside recognition and to act as a public voice
for its members and the profession.
