From: Jimi Waters, Media Specialist
CC: School Improvement Team
As we near the completion of our three-year transition plan and shift our focus to the
adoption of the Future Ready framework, the school improvement team and I met to
evaluate the current state of our learning commons using the Judy Serritella Exemplary
Library Media Program Self-Evaluation Rubric. The rubric is attached with our ratings
highlighted in yellow.
One standard that would be easily shifted from proficient to exemplary is Standard 12:
Streaming video is used on a regular basis to support the curriculum. One of our
struggles was the difficulty with logging on to our service provider. Now that our
streaming services have been added to our single sign-on platform, there should be an
increase in usage after some instruction and promoting.
