Mongolian Numeral System The Numeral System Was Developed From Tibetan Numerals and Used in Conjunction With The Mongolian and Clear Script

The Mongolian numeral system was developed from Tibetan numerals and uses the Mongolian and Clear scripts. Numbers from 0 to 9 are referred to as "Dan". Cardinal numerals are formed by adding the number symbol to the word for the place value. For example, 33 is written as "guchin gurrav" by adding the numeral for 3 ("gurrav") after the word for 30 ("guch"). Larger numbers follow a similar pattern, such as 1001 being written as "myanga neg".
