Responsibilities and Nature of the Job


 Hands on all process related equipment and safety equipment.
 Responsible for managing Health, Safety and Environmental issues for the
organization compliance obligation.
 Evaluate compliance obligation &investigate major/minor near-miss and
incidents.
 Evaluating the risk assessments, impact assessments, HAZOP to mitigate all
hazards in premises, undertaking safety inspections and carry out risk analysis.
 To prepare monthly EHS report and EHS plan
 To carryout Plant Safety Inspections in order to observe the physical conditions
of work and work practices and procedures followed by workers and to render
advice on measures to be adopted for removing unsafe physical conditions and
preventing unsafe actions by workers.
 To conduct the various Mock Drills & Fire Drills at premises.
 Maintained Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) on chemicals used in the
workplace.
 Overall implementation and follow-up of safety operating plan to assigned area
 Emergency Preparedness - Identifying the existing emergencies in coordination
with concerned department head.
 Identification of high-risk operations/activities/processes along with Sr.
Officers of plant.
 Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce
work process risks, raise safety awareness, and improve safe work practices.
 Safety Audit and Inspection to find out unsafe act and unsafe condition to
eliminate them.
 Identifying and controlling the environmental hazards and risk
 Legal Obligations, Administration of SHE (Safety Management Program),
Project/Site Audits, Meetings, Accident/Incident Investigations, Manage Health
Risk of Employees, Safety training, and Physical Safety on site.
 To support the business units in conducting incident investigations, undertake
root cause analysis and develop appropriate learning alerts

Overall implementation and follow-up of safety operating plan to assigned area
& Perform other duties as assigned.
Educational Qualification
 B. Tech -2017 secured 7.2 grade (chemical engineering) from ANITS college, Andhra
University, Visakhapatnam
 Intermediate-2013 secured 83.3% (MPC) from Narayana College, Visakhapatnam
 10th-2011 secured 74% from V.T. High School, SSC Board, Visakhapatnam

Key academic projects

 Done a project on “Overview of Refining process at Visakh refinery” during my


industrial training at HPCL, Visakhapatnam in May 2016.
 Simulation of hydrogen production by steam reforming of hydrocarbons
(B.Tech Project) Nov 2016– Mar 2017
 Study and selection of the method of hydrogen production
 Design of the critical equipment involved.
