7. Install tooling (B) and a nylon strap on steering and implement pump (11). Attach tooling (A) to
the nylon strap and tooling (B).
NOTE: If the pump drive gear slides out with the pump, put it back into the flywheel housing before
tilting the pump and adapter for removal.
8. Remove six bolts (9), and remove adapter (10) and steering and implement pump (11) as a unit.
Use tooling (A) to tilt the pump 90°. The weight of the adapter and steering and implement pump
unit is 100 Kg (220 lb.).
10. Remove four bolts (13), and remove adapter (10) and the O-ring seal from steering and
implement pump (11).
11. Remove fittings (8) and (15), elbow (14) and the O-ring seals from the steering and implement
pump.
NOTE: The following steps are for installation of the steering and implement pump.
12. Install fittings (8) and (15), elbow (14) and the O-ring seals on the steering and implement

pump.
13. With the O-ring seal in place, position adapter (10) on steering and implement pump (11) and
install four bolts (13).
14. Install O-ring seal (12) on adapter (10). Put clean oil on the seal.
15. Use tooling (A) and (B) to position adapter (10) and steering and implement pump (11) as a unit
on the flywheel housing, and install six bolts (9). Remove tooling (A) and (B).
16. Position the seal and elbow (2) on the pump, and install the four bolts that hold it in place.
17. Connect hose assemblies (1), (3) and (5) to the steering and implement pump.
18. Connect tube assembly (7) and hose assembly (4) to fitting (8).
NOTICE
19. To fill the steering and implement case with oil, disconnect hose assembly (1) from fitting (6)
and use a funnel to slowly pour hydraulic oil into hose (1). When oil runs out of fitting (6), the
steering and implement pump and steering motor are full of oil. Connect hose assembly (1) to fitting
(6).
21. Fill the hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level. See the Maintenance Guide.
