20 AC or DC oil pump run check BTG 2

21 Check Jacking oil pump run at below 1200rpm BTG 2
22 Check turning gear running after TBN rotor 0rpm BTG 2
HP/LP Bypass Valve close
23 ▶ After BT, HP/LP Bypass gradually close. BTG 2

pump stop
Cooling down drum metal temp using level up & and down

Natural boiler cooling down

Bed temp decrease rate
1 - 850'C → 650'C : -1.66'C/min
- 650'C → 0'C : -0.83'C/min

2 Bed at 550'C → Coal FDR #A, F stop (close inlet damper) It can be change depends on the
condition
3 Bed at 500'C → Coal FDR #C, D stop (close inlet damper) At 450C, all coal feeders stop
condition
4 Bed at 450'C → Coal FDR #B, E stop (close inlet damper) Before 400C, all burner stop

5 Bed at 400'C → all coal feeder and oil burner stop

Bed temp 400'C↓and O2 content 20% → BT by manual
- Make sure one IDF in BT trip select "reset"
6
- After BT, Must reduce IDF scoope tube position (Monitor
Furnace pressure)
7 Bed temp 200'C or 24hours after BT → Start fans

Any concern during Unit 2 reduce the load and shut down
1. During reduce the load
○ How to control the scoop tube : [ One field operator must monitor scoop tube body at field.]
(i) Very slowly reduce the load
(ii) Try to remain 46% of scoop tube, control discharge pressure & drum level using BFWP 2B recycle MOV and drum
drain valves
(iii) If the BFWP 2B recycle MOV is 100%, try to reduce the scoop tube position from 46% ~ 37%.
- But if there is not shacking scoop tube body. It can do normal operation.
(iv) If want to reduce scoope tube position below 25%, try to hold 25% with reducing load.
(v) Control discharge pressure & drum level using BFWP 2B recycle MOV and drum drain valves
(vi) If the BFWP 2B recycle MOV is 100%, try to reduce the scoop tube position from 25% ~ 17%.
- But if there is not shacking scoop tube body. It can do normal operation.
※ If can not control BFWP 2B, must do boiler trip manually and stop BFWP 2B manually. But it depends on condition.

○ How to control the reheater temp :

Shut down check sheet (Unit 2)
NO Description PIC Start Remark

(i) Very slowly reduce the load

(ii) If It is impossible to increase RH temp B side any more, try to open HP bypass valve only in that case monitor HP
exhaust temp.
- If needed, LP bypass can operate.

○ Concern : Mornitoring point : Temp gab between SH and RH, Reheater A, B side temp, TBN casing temp, HP exhaust
temp, TBN any vibration
(i) Temp gab between SH & RH - Should remain it below 50'C. If it is above 50'c, check TBN area operation parameter.
Any abnormal status, recommend TBN trip or MFT. (Make sure GCB open simultaneously.)
(ii) Temp gab between RH A side and B side - Should remain it below 20'C. If it is above 20'C, check TBN area
operation parameter. Any abnormal status, recommend TBN trip or MFT. (Make sure GCB open simultaneously.)
(iii) TBN casing temp any alarm - Any alarm occurred, monitor the TBN vibration parameter. If the situation get worse,
trip HP
(iv) TBNexhaust
manually (Checking
temp GCB open).
- If HP exhaust tempIfisgetting worse,
increase high,consider

2B trip.
If HP exhaust temp is
decrease fast, directly trip TBN manualy (Checking GCB open). If It continously decrease, consider Boiler trip & BFWP
2B trip.
(v) TBN any vibration - There is any abnormal vibration happened. Check any temp gab increased on TBN casing and
Consider tripping TBN manually (Checking GCB open). If the temp gab is continously incrased, consider Boiler trip and

2. Incase of emergency
If can not control the reheater temp or any abnormal situation on TBN, directly BT and stop feed water pump and make
sure GCB open, TBN trip and MFT occurred.

3. In case of success a stop of Unit 2 normally

○ Concern : During close HP by pass valve, must check the TBN casing temp. If there is any gab temp suddenly increase
and HP in/outer casing temp suddenly decrase, directly trip boiler manually and BFWP 2B stop.
