EXECUTIVE SYNOPSIS

Title : Integrated refinery and petrochemical complex, Sulphur recovery and hydrogen
Generation facilities, Lekki FZ Lagos.
Position : Piping Engineer.

JOB ROLE
 Supervising installation of piping, equipment and Erection of structures by interpreting all stage of drawings
(GA, P&ID & ISO) as per relevant codes, ANSI/ASME B31.1, B31.3, project’s HSE requirements and permit
to work procedures.

 Manage/Supervise construction activities in the area and ensure that all works are in according to design, on
schedule and to appropriate levels of HSE and quality.

 Review the construction sequence/logic, work plan/procedures, and pre task planning to ensure comprehensive

 Responsible for carrying out Mechanical Clearance, Conducting Hydro and Pneumatic tests, fulfilling
commissioning and Pre-Commissioning requirements for the project.

 Responsible for line checking after hydro test to complete the post punch list prior to sign-off the test packages
before signing the completion of piping / mechanical.

 Ensure that hydro test reinstatement is to be done as per procedure.

 Ensure that all punch list items are resolved, client handover is satisfactorily concluded and that there is no
prolongation of project.

JOB ROLE
 As a construction Engineer my responsibilities is to Planning, organizing, supervising and coordinating for all
construction activities like, fabrication, erection, maintenance, plant upgrading and modification as per
requirements of the projects& Accordance with the ANSI/ASME B31.1, B31.3, ASME B36.10, ASME B36.19
and project schedule and compliance within the Project’s HSE requirements.

 Review of Project specification and P&ID s.

 Manage/Supervise construction activities in the area and ensure that all works are in according to design, on
schedule and to appropriate levels of HSE and quality.
 Reviews all “approved for construction” (AFC) documents received at site and identify any area of concern
prior to issue for project execution.

 Responsible for Installation/alignment of rotating and static equipment’s, associate piping fabrication, erection
and hydro testing, Pneumatic test under ANSI B31.3 shall be conducted at 110 Percent of design pressure.

 Elaborates construction feasibility analysis evaluating the available materials & drawings.

 Raising MTO(s) for all materials required to additional materials for hydro test etc.

 Responsible for Piping erection operations and pipe support installation in accordance with schedule,
Procedures, Specifications, Priorities and availability of construction drawings.

 Ensure the Productivity and Quality is maintained by subordinates and coordinate with other Disciplines in
site.

 Monitoring the daily work activities of Sub Contractor and updating Sub Contractor Progress Reports

 Responsible for counter checking by Isometric / Piping plan for the spools erected in the correct location,
orientation, alignment and plumpness.

 Carrying out final P&ID check of installed piping systems in the module.

 Preparation of “AS BUILT” drawings.

 Preparation of field piping system test packages, including system limit on P&ID and piping Isometrics.

 Support the construction and commissioning managers to monitor the pre-commissioning, commissioning
work and provides assistance during plant startup work.

 Report to Construction Manager all construction activities and forecast the completion. Interface with client to
resolve the site problem in order to increase the productivity with quality in order to achieve the project target
and release the test pack for Hydro testing.

JOB ROLE

 Oversee all construction activities pertaining to mechanical system including Air conditioning, Ventilation,
Chilled water system, fire system, plumbing, Drainage system and Electrical system.
 Sound exposure in installation, testing commissioning of various pipes like ERW, seamless black, galvanized
steel, copper, PVC, Cpvc, Upvc, PPR, & HDPE and relevant joints like rubber ring, solvent and welded joints
and fittings.
 Overview Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Ducted units, Chilled water system, Air handling units,
