Aloha requires communication thru a NIC (Network Interface Card) which has its LANANUMBER set to '0'. In Windows 8 or 10, it is not possible
to use the lanacfg.exe tool like in the previous versions of Windows. You can run lanacfg.exe, but the outcome will be blank.
Please follow the following steps to edit the LANANUMBER of the desired NIC:
Open CMD and typ the following: 'WMIC nicconfig get description, SettingID [press enter]'
The screenshot shows the returned data:
Match the SettingID to the NIC you would like to use. In this example, I will be using 'Microsoft Hyper-V Network Adapter #2'.
Check 'LanaMap', you will see a numeric value displayed. The value should be read as followed:
Every 'pair of two' stores some settings for a NIC.
NIC1 is ACTIVE [01] and has LANANUMBER 0 [00], NIC2 is ACTIVE [01] and has LANANUMBER 1 [01], etc.
01 00 01 01 01 02 01 03 01 04 01 05

If you match the SettingID to the NIC we looked up in the first step, you will see that our NIC is 6th in row. According to the
LanaMap, our NIC is ACTIVE and has LANANUMBER 5.
In the 'Bind' window, you can set our NIC (6th) on the top row.
Change the LanaMap, set NIC1 to LANANUMBER 05 and NIC6 to LANANUMBER 00:
01 05 01 01 01 02 01 03 01 04 01 00
