• SEMESTRIAL EVALUATION
! Participation in both semestrial sessions is required to succeed for the subject CHM !

• REPERTOIRE
! You can only succeed for CHM by respecting following requirements of repertoire !
BACHELOR 2
Minimum repertoire = 20 minutes.
- minimum 2 compositions
- different style eras
- various instrumental combinations
- incomplete compositions possible
SPECIFIC : percussionists
- course BA 2 CHM consists of ‘drums’ & ‘latin percussion’ (contact: Dhr Gert François & Bart
Quartier)
SPECIFIC : singers
- NO CHM in Bachelor 2
BACHELOR 3
Minimum repertoire = 40 minutes
- complete compositions
- different style eras
- 1 composition with a minimum of 3 performers
MASTER 1
Minimum repertoire = 50 minutes
- a minimum of 3 complete compositions
- genuine chamber music repertoire
- 3 different style eras
- 1 composition with a minimum of 3 performers
MASTER 2
Minimumrepertoire = 60 minutes
- 1 sonata + a minimum of 2 complete compositions
- genuine chamber music repertoire
- 3 different style eras
- preferably with a minimum of 3 performers
VERKORTE BACHELOR
- program of 30 minutes
- complete compositions
- to be performed over 2 semester sessions or on the last semester session
POSTGRADUATE
The candidates present a specific chamber music project and choose a mentor.
The trajectory and the evaluation will be stipulated in consultation with the mentor.

- Formations consist of students of the KCB (in order to avoid problems concerning rehearsals,
courses & evaluations).
- For each non KCB ‘reply’ you need to ask permission to your professor.

Your formation can stipulate day, hour & location.
Please agree with your formation members and indicate one responsible member to register.
STIPULATIONS EVALUATION
- The formation provides 1 score of each composition, of post 1950 repertoire you provide 2
scores.
- The chamber music course is a ‘stage course’, consequently an insufficient score is not
tolerated.
- ‘Repetitions’ in the scores are not performed, with the exception of Trio & Menuet.
- Appropriate dress-code required.
