    Notice of Change in Surface Finish

    We hereby announce that the surface finish of our piston pumps, which have been highly regarded since their release, is
    changed from color paint coating to phosphate coating.

    ■ Description of the Change


    *1)
    In recent years, a commitment to environmental protection, including compliance with the PRTR Law , is urgently
    required. Coating work has significant impacts on the environment and human health; thus, reducing the amount of
    coating materials used is a major issue.
    In this context, we have decided to change the surface finish of the products from paint coating to phosphate coating for
    the purpose of reducing environmental and human health impacts.
    Note that this change is not accompanied by remodeling of the products (the product design remains unchanged).

    *1) PRTR: Abbreviation for Pollutant Release and Transfer Register. The PRTR Law requires the reporting of release of
    specific chemical substances to the environment and the promotion of the improvement of their management. It is
    intended to promote improvements in the voluntary management of chemical substances by businesses and to prevent
    impediments to environmental protection.

    ■ Applicable Models
    This change will be applied to all models of the following piston pumps.
    (1) A Series Variable Displacement Piston Pumps
    (2) A3H Series High Pressure Variable Displacement Piston Pumps
    (3) AS/ASR Series AC Servo Motor Driven Pumps
    (4) Intelligent Hydraulic Servo Drive Packs
    (This change will also be applied to valves in these pumps when sold separately.)
