    I would like to notify my interest in applying for Medical Officer’s position in the department of
    Neurosurgery at Agha Khan University Hospital. Your hospital has been a bench mark in patients’
    medical care and a pioneer in operating latest modalities. Whether its research development,
    provision of new technologies, caring by staff or appointing most experienced Doctors, the
    hospital focuses on providing the best quality services to its patients. Your commitment towards
    the patient’s welfare is something I have strived for in my own career. I would want to bring this
    dedication, along with my relevant skills and experience, to your prestigious Hospital.
    I have successfully completed my three months of rotation in Department of Neurosurgery and
    Surgical Unit 2, Civil Hospital Karachi as a House Officer. I directly took part in dealing with
    emergencies from receiving a patient in ER to Operation theatres later following up in Surgical
    ICU as and when needed. I have had a chance to experience clinical electives twice in the
    department of Neurosurgery under the supervision of Dr Ehsan Bari and Dr Gohar Javed at Agha
    Khan University hospital. I also observed electives in the department of clinical Psychology,
    Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital in order to extend my experience in the line of Mind and
    Brain Sciences. Attending a few relevant courses in Neurology and Neurosurgery also helped me
    in enhancing my knowledge about this particular field.
    Besides I have been an active participant of many activities at my affiliated Hospital that is Civil
    Hospital Karachi, along with my studies. I held the Joint Secretary post in the year 2015 for a
    welfare organization Serve Our Civil Hospital. The organization closely looks after the infra-
    structure and cleanliness of the hospital with the support from MS, CHK. Later I was promoted
    to president ship in the year 2016. As a leader I was able to manifest many of my team building
    and instant decision making capabilities which are the basic requirements of the offered vacancy.

    The diversity of my experience in medicine along with my passion for neurosurgery, would make
    me uniquely qualified to tackle the Medical Officers position. I would like to put my efforts as a
    part of your expanding team in serving the patients. I would also like to assist the faculty of
    neurosurgery in carrying out their tasks efficiently.
