Report

Statement of problem:

One of the biggest problems of choosing right accommodation in Bishkek is of course price.

However, it also means safety and comfortability. The price range can start from 30$ per night

till 200$. Some tourists with lower budget may not afford expensive hotels. This yardstick report

will help to find some alternatives for lower budget as 30-40-60$ per night, which will have

good conditions for tourists and residents in general.

Solution/Alternatives:

 The first solution is “Art Hotel” (The price is 40$ per night):

Art Hotel Bishkek is the first hotel on the way to Bishkek from the Manas International Airport,

with a modern design combining technology and comfort, and all 46 rooms are fitted with

necessary equipment to make your stay comfortable. It is located in the capital’s downtown

district which is ideal for fast connections and easy access to the most sights and activities.

Nearby you will find the Osh bazaar with traditional local food and souvenirs. Also there is the

main bus station within walking distance. Free breakfast is served every morning in the

restaurant, and room service is available 24/7. Their reception desk is accessible 24 hours a day

and free Wi-Fi is for all their guests throughout the hotel area.

 The second solution is “My hotel” (The price is 50$ per night):
The Hotel is situated in a peaceful and quiet area not far from the center of the city with its own

secure parking. All guests will meet an excellent service and remarkable accommodation in the

Hotel. My Hotel consists of 15 comfortable Lux, Double, Twin rooms and 7 hostels with 3 and 4

beds. The all rooms are uniquely decorated with traditional elements of handicrafts. There are

Bar, Lounge, Lobby bar and beautiful terrace on the first floor, where you may sit and have a rest

listening to the lounge music or just read with cup of aromatic coffee or tea

 The third solution is “Bishkek Centrum Hotel” (The price is 60$ per night):

"CentrumBishkek" hotel is located in the center of Bishkek. Next to the hotel are close to the

main streets of Bishkek, but at the same time, it is a quiet area. Walk from the central Ala-Too

Square in less than 15 minutes, close to work a lot of shopping centers - GUM Department Store,

ZUM, "Dordoi Plaza", "Children's World", "1000 little things". In addition, the facilities include

a desk and upholstered furniture. There is an IP-telephony service with its help at any time, you

can make a call anywhere in the world your family and friends at reasonable prices. Each has a

private bathroom. All hotel services are working 24/7. In the entire hotel has free, high-speed

Wi-Fi. Upon request, a laundry service. The price includes breakfast. Also they offer a free

shuttle service from / to the airport.

As hotel business is based on direct work with customers, it requires these criteria. The most

important one is location because tourists may not know Bishkek. Thus, it will be easier for them
to live near center with good conditions. Obviously, all hotels should be clean that will satisfy to

tourists. Moreover, price plays a big role for a customer as he/she will book hotel according to

their budget. Also, high ranking means the quality of a hotel.

Evaluation is based on comments and rating of real people from website tripadvisor.com and

booking.com

Conclusion/Recommendations:

The hotel business in Kyrgyzstan is in a good level that gives many opportunities for tourists and

residents to choose where to stay. However, all hotels vary from each other by different

conditions and price. This report provides 3 alternatives for expensive hotels. All these

alternatives are considered as good places to stay. Almost all of them have free access to internet

via WI-FI, good service and comfortable conditions. Sometimes, it does not require much money

to have a rest in hotel. Thus, there are some good options even for lower budget that will satisfy

to many requirements in a very good way.


I would personally highly recommend these 3 alternative hotels as they were ranked as top 3 in

Bishkek between range of 30-60$ per night. They all satisfy to many requirements. I tried to

collect data from relevant sources such as tripadvisor, booking, and by my personal search.
