    D. Abstraction The teacher will give the learners a hand-outs and the learners will have a
    photocopy in it. After that the teacher will discuss the following:

    FABRIC AND FABRIC DESIGN

    INDONESIA, MALYSIA, SINGAPORE, AND BRUNIE


    Batik designs
    1. Geometric motifs
    2. Free forms designs
    There are two main types of batik that are produced there:
    1. Hand painted
    2. Block printed
    Batik can be done in four different ways:
    1. hand-drawn
    2. using metal blocks
    3. screen printing
    4. digital printing
    E. Application The teacher will show different pictures of fabric designs in Southeast Asia
    Countries.
    V. EVALUATION The teacher will review the fabric designs that are made from different Southeast
    Asian people.

    VI. AGREEMENT How does the following countries influenced the economics of the Philippines in
    terms of fabric designs?
