THE RETURN OF PRODIGALS

Prophecy Given Through Barbara Williams, December 26, 2010

The Lord is saying that, “My heart is with the prodigal. My heart goes out… I weep for the
ones who are missing. I weep for the lost. I leave the 90 and 9 and go after the 1 lost one. My heart
is always toward the lost,” says the Spirit of God.

“And many people are lost and aren’t aware of it; Sometimes it comes upon them unawares. The
enemy sets snares for people. He’s able to trap them in snares. And it takes prayer and it takes
believing and it takes love and it takes encouragement and it takes all the forces of My kingdom to
retrieve the ones who go astray; to retrieve the lost ones. There are people who have been deceived into thinking that I am merely religion
– that if they go through the motions, then that is the same thing as having relationship with the Father.

“And this is what I desire from everybody: relationship with Me. There is nothing that is a substitute for relationship with Me,” says
the Lord. “Where you call Me ‘Father,’ and I call you ‘Son.’ Where you call Me when you have needs, and I tell you and instruct you how
to get those needs met. And you live your life in a comfort and a dignity that comes through knowing Me,” says the Spirit of God. “And I
ordained that men would know Me first, and put Me first in all things and never stray from that. NEVER stray from that.

“But when straying happens, My heart is toward that lost one. My heart is toward them, and I go after them, and I send people after
them,” says the Spirit of God. “I send them in the realm of prayer, and I send them in the realm of My Word, and My prophecy, and My
vision that I have over that soul,” says the Spirit of God. “I send them with a vision to see that soul come back into the security and the
safety of the Father’s house.

"For it is not My will that anybody perish; you can always pray for salvation for any soul,” says the Lord. “And I consider all souls
worth saving,” says the Spirit of God. “But know that there are snares laid by the enemy, and you who continue with Me are wise in that
you didn’t fall into that snare, but there are many snares,” says the Lord. “Always humble yourself. Consider yourself blessed. Never take
credit for the fact that you’ve continued with Me, but understand that as a good shepherd I have led you and as a humble sheep you have
obeyed My voice.

“So, Take heart!” says the Spirit of God. “For I am calling many many many back unto me this year, as I do every year, but especially
this year,” says the Spirit of God. “For this year, 2011, is starting a new decade – a new 10-year period – where there is ample grace to see
salvation, ample grace to forgive, ample grace to have repentance in your heart, and ample grace to feel my great love even for those who
are lost for whatever reason; those who are astray for whatever reason.

“So believe Me,” says the Lord. “Believe Me that I want them back unto Me. I want them in the Father’s house, and as they dwell
under the shadow of the Almighty, then I can bless them with the blessings that they so abundantly need, that their hearts long for,” says
the Spirit of the Living God.

“Let them come back. Let them embrace Me. Let them lock in to My Spirit, and let them be able to abide with Me and learn from
Me,” says the Spirit of the Living God.

“And the empty seats will be filled by those who really love and want to serve Me,” says the Lord. “Help them to lock in. Be the
witness that I know you can be. Live for Me, and live as a good example before men, and surely they will stay and they will grow, and
they will flourish just as you do,” says the Spirit of the Living God.
PRAY FOR THE PRODIGAL

Backsliders

1. Thank God for His word. “God hates the putting away.” Jesus come with the faithfulness
of Hosea in forgiving the backsliding, adulterous bride.

2. Break power of Rebellion and Witchcraft over the church. Loose a spirit of Marriage
and Commitment to our first love—Jesus.

3. Pray for the assembling of the body together and the faithfulness of the bride to her
beloved: “My beloved is mine and I am His.”

4. Release Godly sorrow as a motivation for repentance of sin. Ask that the backslider
recognize the holiness of God. Pray for brokenness and commitment to a life of
repentance.

5. Bind hypocrisy and loose truth.

6. Prayer for the rebellious and the backsliders. “Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in
mercy; break up your fallow ground for it is time to seek the Lord till He come and rain
righteousness upon you” (Hosea 10:12).

7. “Break thou the arm of the wicked and evil man; seek out his wickedness till thou find none”
(Psalm 10:15).

8. Loose the hounds of heaven to sniff and dog them until they repent.

9. Ask God to release a spirit of repentance and conviction for sin over them. Ask for
mercy. Ask God to forgive them.

10. Thank God that He devises a means that His banished ones be not expelled from Him.
(2 Samuel 14:14).

11. Pray the Lord of the Harvest send laborers to compel them back to the Father’s house.
 Father, thank you that this is the year the prodigals are returning... where there is
ample grace to see salvation, ample grace to forgive, ample grace to have repentance in our
hearts, and ample grace to feel your great love even for those who are lost or who are astray
for whatever reason.

Job 33:14-30
For God may speak in one way, or in another, yet man does not perceive it. In a
dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, while slumbering on
their beds, Then He opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction. In order to turn
man from his deed, and conceal pride from man, He keeps back his soul from the pit,
and his life from perishing by the sword.

Man is also chastened with pain on his bed, And with strong pain in many of his
bones, So that his life abhors bread, and his soul succulent food. His flesh wastes away
from sight, And his bones stick out which once were not seen. Yes, his soul draws near
the pit and his life to the executioners.

If there is a messenger for him, A mediator, one among a thousand, To show man
His uprightness, Then He is gracious to him, and says, ‘Deliver him from going down
to the pit; I have found a ransom’; His flesh shall be young like a child’s, He shall
return to the days of his youth. He shall pray to God, and He will delight in him, He
shall see His face with joy, For He restores to man His righteousness. Then he looks at
men and says, ‘I have sinned, and perverted what was right, and it did not profit me.’
He will redeem his soul from going down to the pit, and his life shall see the light.

Behold, God works all these things, twice, in fact, three times with a man, to bring
back his soul from the pit, That he may be enlightened with the light of life.

Hosea 2:6-7
Therefore, behold, I will hedge up your way with thorns, And wall her in, So that
she cannot find her paths. She will chase her lovers, But not overtake them; Yes, she
will seek them, but not find them. Then she will say, “I will go and return to my first
husband, For then it was better for me than now.”
 Luke 15:17-21
But when he came to himself, he said, “How many of my father’s hired servants
have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my
father, and will say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I
am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants.

And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his
father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. And
the son said to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no
longer worthy to be called your son.”

But the father said to his servants, “Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and
put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. And bring the fatted calf here and kill it,
and let us eat and be merry; for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and
is found.” And they began to be merry.

2 Corinthians 5:17-19
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away;
behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us
to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is,
that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses
to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

We declare that we do not despise the riches of Your goodness, Your forbearance, and Your
longsuffering; for we know that the goodness of God leads us to repentance, (Romans 2:4).

Father, we declare that we will let them come back. We will let them embrace you. We will let them
lock in to your Spirit so they will able to abide with you and learn from you.

As ministers of your reconciliation, we will be your witnesses. We will live for You, and live as a
good example before men. And surely they will stay and they will grow, and they will flourish just as
we do. In Jesus' Name. Amen
