A Study Tour to Bali

I was in grade 9 when at the first time I went to Bali Island. I went there with my
teachers and my friends. It was a study tour actually. My teacher, classmates, and I were
enthusiast to have a holiday there. We left our school at 8 a.m. and headed to Sepinggan
International Airport. The plane left Balikpapan for Surabaya at 10 a.m. and it arrived at

gone all of sudden when we arrived at the Sanur Beach. It was still morning when I saw a
sun rise which was so beautiful. Then we drove to the hotel to take a rest and had meals.
After that, we went to Nusa Dua Beach. There were so many activities to do there. We
could play parasailing, banana boat, and so on. I was not interested in doing such of the
games so I chose to go to a little island where I could see various reptiles, such as snakes,
turtles, etc. After visiting the beach, we went to Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK). I saw
two huge statues. They were Wisnu and his bird, called Garuda. I was interested in its
relief on the rock but, actually, I did not know the story on it.
The last day, we went to Sosro Company where we learned the process of making
tea, from the raw tea until the tea could be directly drunk.

The Villager asked the Romans, “Why are you killing everyone and taking their lands? Why
are you robbing the people and living in style? People were so afraid that they have left their

The exotic durian is native to Brunei, Indonesia and Malaysia. While there are 30 known species

The flesh or pulp can be consumed at various stages of ripeness, and is used as flavoring agent in
a wide variety of culinary and sweet preparations in Southeast Asian cuisines. Durian seeds are
small, round to oval shape and appear like that of jackfruit seeds. Although boiled seeds can be
eaten safely, many discard them. The seeds feature a bland taste akin to jackfruit seeds.

Bats are nocturnal mammals mostly seen at night. They are only
seen then because they are sensitive to light. These mammals can only fly
and hunt at night and not during the day as their hairless wings would dry
out in the sun. To locate their prey, they send out pulses or vibrations
through their mouth or noses, which echo back. This helps them locate
their prey.
There are many types of bats. The fruit bats scatter the seeds of
fruits they eat. The vampire bats meanwhile feed on the blood of animals
such as horses and cattle.
Another interesting characteristic of bats is that they hang upside
down. They do so simply because their legs and feet are small and not
strong enough to support their body weight. Doing this also helps them to
take off from high spot. You may wonder for how long they can hang
upside down. Amazingly, after they are dead, they continue to do so.
