III. COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The course exposes the students to various Philippine Folk Dances and Social Dances. It enhances the participants of the students through interpretative and
creative group activities by performing different dance folk and social dances.

IV. PRE-REQUISITE: PHYSICAL EDUCATION 1

V. COURSE RATIONALE:

The Physical Education 2 focuses on the performance of an individual through interpretation of different folk and social dances.

VI. COURSE OBJECTIVE:

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:

1. COGNITIVE: Identify the fundamental movements of folk dancing and social dancing in different time signature.

2. AFFECTIVE: Show interest and enjoyment in performing Philippine Folk Dances and Social Dances.

3. PSYCHOMOTOR: Execute the dance rhythmically with poise, well-coordinated bodily movement and perform the different dances accurately.
