Welcome Addrees
It is my honor to welcome each and every one of you to our graduation. It’s remarkable to think
that our past four years here at La Salle are coming to a close. Let’s take a moment to think about
this journey that we have taken together. It’s been full of twists and turns and marked by
countless challenges to overcome, whether they were academic, athletic, artistic, or personal.
It is a fantastic achievement for each of us to have made it here today, and I am proud to share
this moment with all of you. But we have not made it here on our own efforts alone. On behalf of
the class of 2014, I’d like to take a moment to acknowledge those who have gotten us to where
we are today, because the truth is, none of us could have made it here without them.
Our parents are here today to support us, as they always have. Parents, though I know we don’t
often show it, and though many of you are probably ready to get us out of the house – I know my
family already has plans to convert my bedroom into a dance studio for my sister- we are truly
grateful for all that you have done for us, and are delighted that you are here to share in this
occasion.
Our teachers, too, are here with us today. The distinguished faculty at La Salle Academy, and
their dedication to their students, is a hallmark of La Salle’s tradition of excellence. These
teachers do their utmost to ensure the success of their students, and we are excited to share this
celebration with them. I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the administration that has
been vital to our success at La Salle as well, including Mr. Kavanagh, our principal, our
president Brother Thomas and former president Brother Michael, and our dean Mrs. Richard, all
of whom have worked arduously to get our class where it is today.
Through their efforts, with the support of each other, and by the grace of God, whose presence
we recall several times each day, we have survived the past four years. But more than just
survived, we have thrived here at La Salle. More than just completing our studies, we’ve become
an integral part of the vibrant Lasallian community. We’ve clinched state championships, starred
in fantastic theatrical productions, and put in hours of dedicated service to our community.
We’ve grown close in the vast amount of time we’ve spent together, from relaxing at La Salle
Bakery after school, to the one time we shared Pinkberry together on the lawn in front of the
cafeteria, to the many occasions we’ve cheered on our athletic teams as part of the famous
“Beehive,” a school spirit movement that is just one example of our class’s contributions to the
Academy. By just looking around this assembly, we can pick out the faces of those friends who
have been with us through the best and the worst; the people without whom most of us probably
would have lost our minds by now, and the people who will be our lifelong friends thanks to our
shared experiences at La Salle.
As we students know very well from our time spent here, La Salle Academy is a Catholic
institution that follows in the tradition of St. John Baptist de La Salle’s ideals of faith, service,
and community. Our education here at La Salle is rooted in the gospel values and teachings of
Jesus. In essence, our Lasallian education has nourished not just our minds but our spirits,
enriched not just our brains, but our hearts.
To borrow the words of the late Nelson Mandela, “A good head and a good heart are always a
formidable combination.”
In this regard, we are here to celebrate the graduation of an outstanding class; a distinguished
class; a formidable class. A class brimming not only with knowledge, but with compassion and
ambition: the La Salle Academy Class of 2014. Thank you, and welcome to our graduation.
I made this myself. I don't know if this is good enough to be posted here...forgive the code
switching because I sometimes am lost with Tagalog words....hehe
Sa aming punong-guro, G. Joe Marie G. Osano; sa aming District Supervisor, Dr. Ma. Teresa
Education is the key to success.
To our dear teachers, walang salitang maaring makatumbas sa aming pasasalamat sa inyo.
at katamaran.
pasensya at pang-unawa.

Hon. John Raymond P. Allado, our distinguished guest speaker, Dr. Omar A. Obas, the Schools
Division Superintendent, Dr. Antonio M. Dumagpi, Division Supervisor-Banisilan Adopter, Mr.
Ricarido M. Quitor, the father of Banisilan North District, Hon. Mayor Betty Allado, Hon.
Barangay Captain Virgilio Calva, municipal, barangay and PTA officials in attendance, the
Teaching Force of Gastav Elementary School headed by Mr. John A. Pagayon, dear parents,
friends, fellow graduates, guests and visitors, A pleasant good morning to all of you.
The day has come at last! The day of much awaited hopes, the day, which for six solid years, we
have strived and labored for. Not to mention the sacrifices of our beloved parents, the guiding
hands and patience of our dear teachers, and those who in one way or another had helped us to
reach this goal.
We are now at the verge of one and at the starting point of another. We are leaving our lives as
an elementary pupils and ready to traverse the new exciting world of a high school life.
As we leave, we have embedded in our minds the learning’s and values our Alma Mater has
taught us over these years. With these as armors, we will surely get to our dreams.
In behalf of the Batch 2013-2014, I would like to say thank you to everyone who had help us in
every step of the way for us to succeed the challenge of basic education.
To our parents, for the love and support all the time. For the patience and understanding you
extend despite of our being “pasaway”. Thank you for sending us to school.
To our teachers for the guidance. For teaching us good values and attitudes that would surely
help us to reach our dreams in life. For helping us realize that we are special, and for believing
on our ability and capacity.
To my fellow graduates, it is not easy to say farewell, but I must do. They say that parting is such
a sweet sorrow, but I believe that this is not the end of our acquaintances and friendships. We
must go our way to pursue or dreams. I hope that the next time we will see each other, the same
smile, and the same warmness of friendship will be given to each other. Salamat sa mga
masasayang araw na ating pinagsamahan. Salamat sa mga ngiti at tawa. Salamat sa pagmamahal
at pagkakaibigan.
gagawin.
To our Alma Mater, thank you for being the integral part of our learning. You mold us to be a
person of values and intellect. We promise to bring glory and honor to your name.
To the Source of all this blessings, the Divine Providence. Thank you for making all the people
around us an instrument of your unconditional love and compassion.
Fellow Graduates, our journey is not yet over, it had just begin. Let this time be our time to
shine. Let’s spread our wings as we soar to our dreams. Good luck to all of us.

________________________________, ___________________________,
____________________________, honored guests, teachers, parents, friends, my fellow
graduates, a pleasant morning to all of us.
On behalf of batch 2012, it is my honor and pleasure to welcome all of us to the A.Bonifacio
Elementary School 35th Graduation Day. The journey has been long and arduous, which only
makes this graduation ceremony an even sweeter occasion to celebrate.
And so today is a time of celebration –a time to recognize the hard work we have poured in, a
time to acknowledge that we are another step closer to realizing our dreams. Yes, this is indeed
one of our greatest achievements in our relatively young lives, but we must remember that this
success is not ours alone. The persons who helped us and stood by us in our academic journey
deserve as much recognition, if not more.
We owe most of our lives to our families, especially our parents. Their hard work and love
provided us with the needed motivation, allowing us to get to where we are now. Like most of us,
we want to show our parents that their sacrifices have borne fruit. And so today, all their hard
work and dedication in providing us with a good education is actually a testament to their
success.
Today is also a time of gratitude. In this graduation ceremony, we express our grateful
appreciation to persons who have recognized our potentials and have consequently given us
opportunities to develop them wisely. To our teachers, we owe our success to your selfless
guidance.
May we carry on the responsibility of developing others as you have molded and shaped us.
Indeed, we are grateful for your contribution to our human development for you have tapped our
God-given gifts, and patiently nurtured them to their fullest.
This expression of grateful remembrance is also extended to our friends, classmates and
schoolmates for showing us the other side of elementary school life –more especially to the non-
material things, such as the need to bond and forge friendships which have become invaluable as
we journeyed together through elementary life.
And of course, graduation time is a momentous occasion of thanksgiving to our Alma Mater,
the A.Bonifacio Elementary School for equipping us with the ardently needed values, ideals, and
knowledge, helping us to become the best of who we are and can be, not only to serve our
families, and our communities, but more importantly, our country.
And so, this graduation ceremony points to a beginning of a new life, a new chapter, where
we carry on and strive to live by the core values of that which makes us God-fearing individuals,
individuals who hopefully embody a good character, individuals who believe in the value of
diligence, hardwork and perseverance, not because it is a mere token of our educational
formation but because it is the best thing to do to help ourselves, our families and other people
as well. Graduation is about breaking new grounds, as much as it is a recall of the ground we
once trod six or seven years past, for this new ground serves as our landmark when we step into
a world that is much different from the one that is just about to end.
Indeed, we can certainly hope that in the unfolding of human events, we will make the right
choices and plan the right actions all toward our success. And so, let me make this personal
acclamation on behalf of my fellow graduates and say to our dearest alma mater, our teachers,
friends, peers, family and loved ones, that after today, we, the graduating batch of 2012, will
endeavor to make more right decisions and to do our best to make our lives better; we welcome
this next step, and we will make you proud. Once again, welcome to this graduation ceremony
and good morning!
Once again, good morning and welcome to the Benito Soliven National
High School 39th Commencement Exercises!
