INTRODUCTION:
A Transit Hub serves the most basic necessity for the city that is Transportation. It can also
serve as a node for the community that surrounds or resides around the hub. If the public wants and
demands can be met on an optimum level at a place which provides them an escape from their daily
life and also gives them a new set of viewpoint for the environment surrounding them then the space
will act as a node for the society and the passengers.
AIM:
To create a nodal integration between the Transit hub and public space serving as a free
space for the people residing around the transit hub.
To create an environment for easy flow of public and transits without any interruption.
To integrate various modes of transport – Metro, MTC, SETC, EMU at one place to reduce
traffic congestion.
OBJECTIVES:
To make flexible circulations.
To understand requirement and give solution for foot-fall, circulations and traffic.
Maximum Passenger Convenience with safety and security.
To reduce energy loads and installing aspects of Green Building.
Overall improvements in the urban standards of the area for residents and road
commuters.
Socially and Environmentally active complex.

INTRODUCTION:
Automobile Industry is one of the fast-growing Industries in India. The Indian automobile
industry is the 4th largest in the world with sales increasing 9.5% year on year. It was the 7th largest
manufacturer of commercial vehicles in 2018. The Two Wheelers segment dominates the market
in terms of volume owing to a growing middle class and a young population. Moreover, the growing
interest of the companies in exploring the rural markets further aided the growth of the sector. India
is also a prominent auto exporter and has strong export growth expectations for the near future.
Automobile exports grew 14.5% during FY 2019. It is expected to grow at a CAGR of 3.05% during
2016-2026.With several initiative from Government of India and major automobile players of the
market area expected to make India the leader in two-wheeler and Four-wheeler market in world
by 2020.

To create a space that Integrates various Automobile Merchandise and Franchise together.
To create awareness about various brands of automobiles and various segments of the industry.
To create a Single-Stop Destination for the purchase of World class Automobiles.
OBJECTIVES:
To gather every automobile brands under a single roof.
To help the customer compare and buy the product of variety of brands.
To make platforms for Exhibition and product launches.
To create interest in Young generation in the Field of Automobile as here they can view about
the past achievements and innovative future both.

SITE LOCATION:
Oragadam, Chennai, Tamilnadu.
Chennai is nicknamed the "Detroit of India" (or the "Detroit of Asia") due to the presence of
major automobile manufacturing units and allied industries around the city. The 4-wheeler
vehicles in Chennai is the base of 30% of India's automobile industry and 35% of
its automobile component industry. As Oragadam is the industrial suburb of Chennai, site is to
be chosen in Oragadam.
