Going to the zoo
Sandi’s class is going to visit the zoo next week. In the town there is a big zoo with
lots of animals. There are some beautiful lions and two old tigers. They live in strong
cages. They eat a lot of meat every day.
There are also six big elephants. The elephants are tame and kind. They like children
because children sometimes feed them bread, bananas, and coconut. Elephants enjoy
eating coconut.
In the zoo there are also three brown bears. They frequently stand on the back
legs, hold up their arms and ask for food. They really enjoy eating a bar of chocolate.
We can also see the monkeys. They are very funny to see them. They climb up the
ropes and jump down again. They play with each other like children. Monkeys love
