a. Concept of operations.
(1) Construction. Sustainment Brigades are responsible for procurement of Class IV.
(2) Light Textile Repair and Showers, Laundry, and Clothing Repair.
(a) 157th QM Co is a Corps asset and is the only Field Service company currently under the III
Corps.
(b) All requests for showers, laundry, and clothing repair (SLCR) support are submitted to the 4th
SB SPO SOC Help Desk at (254) 288-6979. The 157th QM Co can provide one SLCR Team
(LADS/Showers), capable of supporting 760 Soldiers. (
(a) Sustainment Brigades designate one unit for installation water support and distribution.
(c) Sustainment Brigades ensure 30 days of supply of chemicals are on hand for all water
purification equipment.
(d) Sustainment Brigades ensure all water purification equipment is operated at least twice a
quarter.
(e) Sustainment Brigades provide resources and management of the FORSCOM Liquid Logistics
training program’s SGM John C. Marigliano Water Purification Rodeo.
(f) LRCs manage and provide container refrigeration support to installation Units.
(a) 13th ESC Aerial Delivery Section provides oversight of aerial delivery operations, provides
guidance, and technical assistance to Sustainment Brigades on all matters relating to airdrop and sling-
load.

(b) Sustainment Brigades’ Airdrop Systems Technician provides the coordination and
synchronization of aerial delivery and Sling Load Operations in support of III Corps deployment /
redeployment and installation missions; conducts mission analysis, develops support plans; and
recommends courses of action to support III Corps Units.
1. Provides guidance and assistance for all matters relating to Aerial Delivery and Sling-Load
operations.
2. Provides staff supervision of technical training for personnel on the rigging and loading of
supplies and equipment for Airdrop and Sling Load operations.
3. Provides coordination between units and Air Lift Wings (ALW) for Aircraft support.
5. Supervises all Aerial Delivery, CDS rigging, and Sling Load operations.
(d) Units are responsible for scheduling Drop Zones for all Aerial Delivery operations.
