Description
The A.R.I. 3-in-1 D-070 Q Dynamic Air and Pressure Relief Valve combines a two-stage pressure
relief component with a combination air valve.
The Quick Pressure Relief component is designed to quick-release excessive line pressure
while maintaining a safe and gradual closing. When the pressure rises above the set point,
water is released from the Quick Pressure Relief Valve port and then from the Dynamic Air Valve
outlet port
The Dynamic Air Valve component prevents up-surges by discharging air from pressurized
water lines in a controlled and gradual manner. When vacuum occurs, the valve admits air into
the system for impending down-surges.
This solution protects the pipeline from excessive pressure, eliminating bursts and water loss.
Installation
Pump stations
Deep-well pumps
Downstream and upstream of shut-off valves
Systems prone to water hammer and local system surges
End of a supply line
On top of pressure vessels (filters)
Downstream of a pressure reducing valve
D-070 Q PN 10
Main Features
Pilot Operated Valve Constantly senses the upstream pressure and also operates as a
two-stage pressure relief valve
Large automatic air release orifice Lessens the possibility of obstruction from debris
Dynamic combination air valve Smooth and gradual valve closure, unaffected by the water flow,
discharges all the air from the system

Kv - Flow coefficient
Kv = Q /√Δp, Where Q=Flow Rate (m3/hr), ΔP=Pressure loss across the valve (bar), when fully open.
